bella 2 Slice Toaster, Extra Wide Slots & Removable Crumb Tray, Black

I love this toaster!!! It is the best toaster I have ever owned. The settings are easy to understand and it does what you set it for. I love this toaster I keep my bread in the freezer and put it in the toaster Frozen. This has a selection for frozen bread and it comes out perfect every time. I love this toaster. I thought the price was extremely affordable. Did I say I LOVE THIS TOASTER..... Well, I really do!

Okay so...our 3rd toaster in 5 yrs conked out (as is the case with toasters it seems), so we wanted to find one that looked nice, was simple and didn't cost too much. We found this cute little red one,reasonably priced. It arrived fairly quick. I gave it a quick wipe with alcohol spray and a paper towel on the outside. Plugged it in tried all the settings and worked right away flawlessly. I liked that it toasted the bread in half the time that our old "loser" toaster did (so win-win). It also has a feature on it for frozen items, which has really come in handy. You can also make the toast raise up a little so that you won't burn your fingers getting it out (but we use wooden tongs anyway, so haven't needed to try that). The slots are wide enough (but not overly wide, so they would not be useful for extra wide bread slices...the kind you'd see with belgium waffles or something. But wide enough for slightly larger bread, so that's good. The bright red is nice but not obnoxiously red. We even got a compliment on it from a visitor. Nothing else in the kitchen is red, so it stands out, but not so much to say "HEY...OVER HEEEEERE!" All together, we like it a lot. It's lightweight, pretty and works fast,easy to clean too. I'd give it an A+ 5 stars so far. It's only been a week or two, so in 6-12 months from now, if it conks out, I'll update this review. But so far, I cannot think of any negatives on it.

My silly ass took product description as stated fact. I spent several months looking for the equivalent locally whenever the opportunity presented itself without success. Apparently, this was the only 1500 watt , two slice toaster available anywhere. Upon arrival, you can imagine my disappointment when I flipped it over to discover the label rated it at 900 watts, 600 less than the claim. Not that it would have done a better job toasting,i t’s just that I wanted something different than the ordinary stuff that most people would never bother with considering. As for things that really matter. It is attractive with a finish that hides fingerprints. The cord is located to where it fits snugly against the backsplash. It cooks evenly and has plenty of adjustment for whatever degree of color you prefer. As for the buttons, I can’t say, I got along fine without them so far, I’m not going to waste time learning about them now. It’s a great little toaster, even though the horsepower rating is exaggerated, perhaps to the level of a four slice model. It’s just a lousy toaster, but sometimes you gotta glean fun from wherever you can find it. 🍿

I picked up the Elite Gourmet ECT1027B Cool Touch Toaster to replace an older unit, and overall it’s been a solid, no-nonsense kitchen helper with a few nice touches. Whether I’m just crisping up bread for breakfast or doing a slightly darker toast for sandwiches, it hits the setting I dial in quite reliably. The extra-wide 1.25″ slots are great — they fit thicker slices like artisan bread, bagels, and even small buns without having to force them in. It’s not a luxury toaster, but for daily use it consistently produces evenly browned slices. I haven’t noticed any hot spots where one side burns before the other. Design & Use: The cool-touch exterior is a nice safety feature, especially if you’ve ever worried about accidentally brushing a hot surface. The controls are simple and intuitive — just the toast lever and dial, with no confusing buttons. Cleanup is easy too; the removable crumb tray slides out smoothly and catches bits so they don’t burn or fall onto the counter. A couple of small downsides: It’s not the fastest toaster I’ve used — on higher browning settings it takes a little longer than premium models. But the results are steady, so it’s a trade-off I’m okay with. The pop-up action is firm but not especially springy, so you might have to double-check that your toast fully popped up before grabbing it. Overall: The Elite Gourmet ECT1027B does exactly what you want a basic toaster to do: it toasts evenly, handles wider bread well, and feels safer to use around kids or in busy kitchens thanks to the cool-touch design. If you want a straightforward, affordable toaster without extra bells and whistles, this one gets the job done reliably.

Wow! This toaster is awesome! It works great! I have had it for months and use it every day. It is the most even roasting toaster I have ever had. I bought this due to the great reviews. It was to replace my expensive, fancy, stainless steel toaster that didn’t work as well as this one. Great but, I would buy it again and again!

Super cute and durable toaster. Great color. Toasts evenly well. Such a good looking toaster to have for a dorm or a kitchen. A great size for small spaces. I woudl buy again for certain!

This toaster is visually pleasing and works beautifully but suffers from truly idiotic design. This is my second appliance from Bella (I own one of their tea kettles, and I adore it!). My primary concern is absurd position Bella chose for this toaster’s electric cord. They placed it at the front of the right panel, essentially directly beside the toaster’s lever and controls - this is nearly the most illogical place they could’ve housed the cord. The only way it could be worse would be if they placed it under the lever/control panel itself. Making matters worse, the cord is ridiculously short. The toaster is a little over 9” long and the cord is about 27”. This means you only have 18” of usable cord. To be frank, the people at Bella need to get over themselves. It’s obvious that they intend the user to store the toaster horizontally, with the Bella logo facing outward as if this were some showpiece, status-evoking branded appliance. While it looks nice enough, it’s made of matte plastic. The overall product “feel” is substantially cheaper than I anticipated given my experience with their tea kettle. Bottom line, there’s nothing remarkable or luxurious about this toaster and there’s absolutely no reason to surrender that much countertop real estate to it. I don’t know anyone who would normally store a toaster this way - and the Bella logo isn’t a compelling reason to take your more space and deliberately face the controls away from the user. I decided to keep the toaster since my other (different brand) toaster died, but I would’ve returned it under different circumstances. It does the job, but the design is completely impractical. If the Bella brand means something special to you, buy it! If not, definitely skip this one!

So far so good. The wider slots for thick sliced breads is handy. The unit is built okay, but I already had to adjust the toaster arm as it gets stuck. This item is not one that is robust for the long haul.

Me gustó mucho porque yo consumo pan en te andas gruesas y tengo el pan en el refri, la función para descongelar es excelente para los que congelamos ciertos tipos de pan o waffles

Good quality for the price

1st off it has a u.s plug 2nd I have just gone to use the toaster bread was in for 2 secs on lowestest setting and it has not only burnt the toast it has smoked the whole of my house out it is clearly faulty

I live in the UK, so I had to buy an adaptor which was fine as I really liked the colour of this one and I'd already spent money on it. I used it once, it nearly burned toast in 30 seconds, but I needed 4 slices so I put 2 more in for 10 seconds and it got really bright, hot, and made a loud electric sound. I don't know how to describe it, and I don't know if it was the plug adaptor, the wattage of the toaster or not compatible with the wall sockets all together (though my plugs are not dangerous for anything else). Needless to say I had to safetly unplug it and throw it away. Perhaps there are US or EU reviews that have never experienced this. As it was a lovely looking toaster with a sensible design, perhaps it was an anomaly for fault. But I felt I should write a review all the same.
