The black color is spot on , the stool is sturdy and great quality.. I used it for my son photo shoot but I also sat on it to see if it would hold up . It came with the tools and took 5 mins to put together

Have tested out several plastic and bamboo shower stools to find various flaws but this design and material has clearly won by a mile with elegant and sturdy design. It was super easy to assemble and looks better than more expensive models.

Nice stool. I'm using for plant stand. A tip, if one of the screw holes seems misaligned by about a millimeter & you can't get the screw in, flip the piece around & it will fit.

I use this little stool to hold my CPAP machine below my bed so the mist that runs through the hose and up to my mask doesn't do a wash out, which is when the water runs out of the mask and make a person wet while they sleep. It matches my bedroom furniture. I like it so much that I bought another one to sit my humidifier on in the winter. Keeping my humidifier close to the ground allows the mist to rise up to me in my bed. Both of these are sturdy - you are supposed to be able to stand on it but I haven't tried it. But, it's made of solid wood so it should be sturdy enough. Glad I discovered this wooden stool!

This bamboo step stool has been a fantastic find! We bought it to raise our Golden Retriever’s water bowl, and it’s worked perfectly. Very well made and very sturdy. Beautiful finish and a nice piece. I have a tall angel that bubbles like a lava lamp. She is too tall for a table but the stool is just the right size to display her at Christmas time.Jan
