Excellent Mouse, Not Just For Games
Had this mouse for a couple of days now. Seemed really strange to use a mouse with so many buttons, but once you get used to it it's fantastic. I need to say that I am NOT a gamer. PC games hold no interest for me, they never have and I can't imagine that they ever will. I can't therefore comment on how good this mouse is for playing games. I'm a musician (keyboard player) and I use audio DAW software almost daily. I saw someone using a mouse similar to this for game playing and he explained how the buttons could be re-mapped to keyboard shortcuts. I thought this may be a great idea for my needs. Having many buttons that I can program to run my software more efficiently seemed a no brainer. The mouse itself is excellent quality, far better than the old Logitech mouse its replaced. It's solidly built and a perfect large size for me, very comfortable to hold and the buttons are all responsive and seem well constructed. I went to the web site and downloaded the software for the mouse and everything just worked flawlessly. It's incredibly easy to set up a full set of unique assignments for the buttons, just about everything is programmable, and you can even save custom profiles so you can have many configurations for different needs. For instance, in my file manager software (XYPlorer) I have the top buttons remapped from DPI settings to 'invert selection' and 'delete'. The big side buttons I have as 'ctrl C' and 'ctrl V'. It makes file management a breeze. And don't forget, you have a further 8 buttons on the side you can map to different functions. I have profiles saved for my audio DAW software, Adobe Premiere Pro etc. etc. I have the mouse switched to eco mode. I'm not at all interested in the lights but I can see how many will love them (and they do look good!) but I'm more interested in extending the battery life. The mouse is useable as it charges on the supplied USB C lead anyway, so it's not too much of an issue. The only little niggle, and it's hardly worth mentioning to be fair, is that the light on the scroll wheel pulses on and off constantly to show you the remaining battery power. In use I hardly notice it but I did hunt for a way to make it 'steady' or turn it off. Apears that you can't but as said, it's a minor point. All in all a great buy.

Great mouse
I have always liked Redragon's stuff. This mouse feels really good to hold. It is a large mouse and easy to use. The buttons on the side are in a good spot, easy to reach. It feels responsive. It has a dongle you plug in for low latency. It is quite a heavy mouse, but I quite like that. It feels sturdy and made out of decent material. The left and right clicks have a slight rubber texture that feels amazing.

Great mouse let down by the software
I really do like this mouse. I bought it because I have large hands and the shape really fits my grip. The thumb rest is a great addition and adds a lot to the feel of the mouse. It has been reliable and the quoted battery life is accurate. The microswitched buttons have a good feel to them, the activation has a nice posistive click, the sound of the click has changed slightly on the most common used buttons but this is probably normal. The weight of the mouse might be a little heavy for some with it being wireless, but I dont mind that with it being an MMO mouse, it does slide well on neoprene mats (remember to take the plastic off the bottom). The mouse scroll wheel has no left or right switches which is pretty much standard these days on other mice, not a deal breaker, but would have been nice to have. Now for the let down, the software, specifically profiles, there is a profile switch on the bottom that can switch between 2 profiles. There is no real way to tell what profile you are currently in, but what I did was set the RGB colour of the mouse to allow me to know which profile I am using. Profiles can be used but they have to be loaded into the software from a local file, if profile switching was built into the software this would be the perfect mouser for me. I does not have built in memory to store profiles, which I can understand, but the lack of quick profile switching in the software is very disapointing to say the least. I just don't think it would take much to add this and also a notification in the software to show what profile is active. I check the Redragon software page every now and again to see if it has been updated from version 1.0, but it has been stuck on this version since my purchase in Jan 24. Come on Redragon release an updated utility for the mouse with quick switching profiles. The UX of the software could do with an overhual to in my opinion, its a little dated.

Good mouse, worth trying
Really good mouse especially for the price point. Connection is solid and thats over a bit of distance as I game on a TV. Software is lite and doesn’t need to run all the time as it programs data into the mouse. Macros’s work fine too. Can’t fault it at all

Unconfigurable, pointless.
I bought this mouse because I wanted some more buttons to configure for gaming. The mouse works fine as a regular mouse, but to be able to configure it, you need to download and install the software for the specific mouse model from the Redragon website. Once installed, it doesn't detect the mouse, rendering the additional buttons unconfigurable. I've searched the internet for solutions and I just can't find one. I work in IT so I am used to troubleshooting these things. In my opinion, and from my experience, this mouse is 100% useless as a gaming mouse. Even if there is a solution out there, it shouldn't be so difficult to find. I am sending the mouse back for a refund. You get what you pay for. I will find a better gaming mouse.

Great gaming mouse.
I needed a better mouse for gaming as my old corded one was playing up. Purchased this one for the extra programmable buttons. Turned up next day, well packaged and sealed. I had issues with selecting the correct driver and got a bit stuck. Contacted customer support through amazon and got a very quick reply with all the information I needed to get it working. Great mouse. Superb customer service. Now been using the mouse for a few days and very impressed. Easy to change the dpi (sensetivity) so accuracy can be adjusted depending on use. Buttons are easy to set up through my games. It's got good weight, fits my hand perfectly, and comfortable to use. Not really bothered by the colour set up, but it does look good. Battery life is great so far, but you can use it wired if you forget to charge it. All in all I would highly recommend. 10 out of 10. Edit. Had this mouse 3 months now, and only used 20% of the battery since I charged it. Great mouse, would highly recomend.

Don’t buy
Takes three months for it to break, only ever used eco mode and it kept stuttering. Went to a pc shop for repairs and it’s just broke, never threw it, no abuse of it and it broke in three months. Not worth it.

Great MMO mouse for a first time
An amazing MMO mouse with great accompanying software. Having sloped side buttons makes it easy to memorize and find the button you are looking for with out looking. To get the longest battery life (4+ days for me) I changed the RGB to black, effectively turning it off

Only one of its kind???
I have had this mouse since June 2024 and I absolutely love it. SUPER responsive, works whether or not you open the companion app. I can use my mouse to type in pins. It is the ONLY mouse I can find besides the AATROX by the same company(which is arguably the same thing despite its separate listing on both Amazon and the company website?) that has this set up. My only complaint is that the LEDs can't really be custom colors and only really work with the presets the app shows. It fits really nicely in my hand, the left and right mouse buttons are large so it doesn't take much to click. I LOVE the shelves for my fingers on the side which make it super comfy long term. It's a fairly quiet mouse overall. Scrolls like any other mouse. It's a little on the heavy side but glides smoothly and easily. Overall, really nice mouse and seems like a fair price for it. I will buy this again when the one I have eventually dies unless another brand makes this style in the future

Redragon M811 Pro Wireless
Klare Empfehlung!
