Hesitated to purchase due to size which I doubted functionality; it works. No installation required; use daily or as needed.However, make sure your lock set is compatible with item. Yes, this small items provides some sense of security at hotels, dorm rooms and apartments.

I really like this lock. Its easy and it is secure.

I travel a lot for business and have always been concerned about hotel doors at night. This product worked as described and I felt very secure. The only concerns I have is sometimes it got stuck in the door and was difficult to remove from some doors. Worked great on most but there were some that I had trouble removing it or installing. The only other concern I had was that it may break off in the door from the stress of pulling if it gets stuck. I did notice the longest part of the bar was bent when removing from doors it was difficult to remove it from. Overall though I would use it just make sure it installs easily.

This is a great little gadget for just a couple of dollars you could even use it in your own home for closets or cabinets used for Airbnb and it was fantastic

I'm only giving these three stars as they did not personally work for me. Although if they fit then I can see these being nice. My issue is the width, thickness of the part that goes into the door. My door would not shut. So these ended up being useless. I would give these a four stars for quality of metal as they are strong and sturdy. Unfortunately you have to be very specific on the space between the lock jam and the door. I would not minus the company nor the product itself but again this would only fit within a very narrow space. And I doubt would work for traveling as every door is different. I guess if you're traveling and have it on hand just in case that would work sometimes. Better though to get an expandable door jam.

Bought this fo when I travel alone, gets the job done and Works as it should !!

These are very thin and cheap made not like the ones I bought previously without the extra screw.

Bought this for a family member who travels. Tried this out before taking it to another country; it works and provides another layer of safety. It was easy to install and not heavy to pack. Who doesn’t want another layer of safety especially when traveling! I highly recommend this to anyone seeking another layer of safety while traveling.
