I am a fan of Life Straw products, having used them while hiking. This water bottle lives up to all my expectations. It is easy to use while traveling and it's a good size with a great handle. It does make water taste better! More importantly, it filters water, so I feel safe drinking water from taps in other countries.

Purchase a couple of these for me and the wife for outdoor activities and to prevent the absorption of plastic particles leeching from plastic water bottles that are hazardous to your health.

Bought for a 2 week trip to India, which is known for bad water quality. We didn't get sick. As others have noted its a little challenging to such the water up since its going through that big filter, but its worth it. If you bite it the same time your sucking up the water its easier. You get used to it.The only thing is this: the seals are so tight that if you open it up during a flight or after it, the water comes spraying out the top.

Leaked due to temperature change or altitude change. Great color. Love having clean water.

I was planning a trip to a country with poor water sanitation and was worried about the possibility of getting sick, so after looking into various types and brands of water filtration systems, I got this LifeStraw Go Series.I'd read reviews claiming the bottle is difficult to drink from, but that wasn't my experience. You do have to use a little effort to pull the water up into the spout because the water is moving through several layers of filtration, but to me it was like drinking a thick milkshake through a straw.You do need to remember to clear out the backwash after drinking. Simply blow some air through the mouthpiece to clear out any leftover water so that it doesn't pool on the top near the cap, and to help preserve the longevity of the filter.The LifeStraw comes apart for easy cleaning, and there are specific instructions for cleaning and storing.It worked perfectly for me during my trip and kept me from getting sick. Definitely worth the cost and effort.

I used this on a 10-day mission trip to Ghana. Easy to use and insured the water I was drinking was safe. I had absolutely no digestive issues. Quality product and filter will last a very long time before needing replaced. Recommend to anyone traveling and unsure of the water source for drinking.

Too hard to suck thru the straw

This product filters bad tap water and output great tasting clear odorless water. Will buy again.
