Better Left to OEM Equiptment
Didn't work. Even after support, the company concluded that it might just not work with my car (a pretty common Subaru model too...). Installation was easy, assuming you go slow and read directions well. The product was VERY glitchy. It would detect water only half the time, and the results were an inconsistent system.

First one worked great, so I bought another, it's very erratic and i rarely use it...
I purchased one of these to test it out, it worked great. so i bought another one for a different vehicle. That 2nd one is very erratic. It seems like it has a bad solder joint on the circuit board. I haven't taken it apart to check it out yet, but the product quality seems questionable. the one that works is pretty fantastic! but the one that doesn't work was a waste of money...

Not an install for the timid, but well worth it. There's a little room for improvement though.
The media could not be loaded. Installed this on my Infiniti G35, it's working perfectly. For any climate where rain changes intensity frequently, it's a sanity-saver. If you live in a place where rain is pretty much ON or OFF, I wouldn't bother. There is no bit of the installation that really could be improved - the install largely consists of just finding and connecting to the wires on your car. On some cars, it's a breeze, in fact, probably the older your car is, the easier the install will be.The only notable improvements I can think of:1) The way the cord attaches makes it hard to mount it discretely. It has the reinforced connection, like you see on joysticks and such to keep the cord from bending. Since the sensor isn't realistically ever going to be moved, this is unnecessary and prevents you from mounting the sensor directly beneath and centered under the rearview mirror mount. If the cord wasn't so inflexible, you could run it along the edge or something for a more aesthetically pleasing mount.2) The relay is audible at low speeds, and since it switches on and off for every intelligent intermittent wipe, it can be like a ticking clock once you start to hear it. It might just be that my car is fairly well sound-deadened.3) Including a small 12v LED to wire in with the power switch for indicating the system is on would be great. It's easy enough to add in yourself, but would be a nice addition.3) Some weatherproof grommets for running the wires through the firewall would be appreciated.Update: Added a video showing the auto wipers changing from all three operation modes during a single drive (long chunks of same mode edited out, of course).

Great add-on
Just finished installing this on a 2011 Mini Cooper S. Wiper speed automatically adjusts depending on the amount of rainfall. A bit difficult to install, but with a lot of patience, i think it's worth it. It also has a auto headlight switch but unfortunately the website do not offer support for this feature. But if you have a good knowledge of your vehicle's elecrtrical system, i'm pretty sure it's easy to make it work. Overall, i am happy with this product.

Good product! Good price!
The installation instructions that came with this was very clear. There is a little work involved but once it was complete could not be happier with the results. It looks very stock and the sensor itself is invisible behind my rearview mirror. I tested it using a garden hose and it does adjust depending on wet weather conditions. The unit is very responsive. I would recommend this to either have it installed by a professional or if you do it yourself.

Great Addition to my Luxury Car
This item was delivered fast. This work as advertised. Will consider future puchases from this seller. This is my second purchase. Be sure to put the resistors as the instructions say. I installed this on my Acura TL and it worked very well.
