Each segment is tailored to fit the lens. Each piece is a snug fit which means it will not slip. The seams are stitched closed so the fabric will not fray. I like the fact that all parts of the lens are covered - the zoom portion has a velcro closure for easy removal.

Great quality lens cover for your lens. And the fit is perfect. The only downside is the ease of use. It is a pain to put it on the lens. You definitely need lot of patience for that.

To be honest I never leave a review for anything I buy online. What inspired me to do so this time is how pleased I am with this product. Originally I purchased the LensCoat version being its the top name brand. I did not like it at all because it was loose and sloppy on my lens. I immediately returned it. I decided to give RolanPro a try and I'm glad I did. It fit's snug and tight and looks great. I love how it looks and feels in my hands. RolanPro you have a winner. I hope this review helps and saves someone the time and effort if they are considering the LensCoat. Now granted, mine is for the Nikon 200-500 mm lens. Maybe for other lenses their product works great. All I know is RolanPro has a new devoted customer.

I am constantly having to push each and every section back in place because they slide up and down. I’ve had another make of lens cover that costs a little more but stayed in place, wish I had bought that again.

Doesn’t seem to be worth $80 plus .. made in China and directions in Chinese???!!
