I can't say for sure that this is the reason my dog is feeling better, but I'm pretty sure is was a big influence in his improvement.I have an older Shepard/Ridgeback mix who, being totally frank, is a tad on the chubby side. We had a scary bit where he was suffering some extreme discomfort in his hips, like not being able to walk levels of discomfort. His Vet gave us a 'script for a rather expensive but effective medicine. But I don't like the concept of keeping my dog medicated, so we began a campaign to decrease his weight and help out those old hips of his.One of the cornerstones of our plan was to get him on a quality Glucosamine supplement, and my research led me to his one. I am really happy with this product, and I like that it has addition features (liver, flax, collagen). I did fail to notice that it requires refrigeration, so that should be bolded on the label and wish they would update their packaging to include a weight scale. But at 125# my dog typically is off the scale anyways.

Someone told me that I should be giving my dogs supplements from an early age, especially since I have a lab. I bought my kids a lab last summer and to help prevent the hip issues commonly seen in labs I decided to buy Packlabs. I purchased Hip & Joint because it was a great price, but it also has all the ingredients needed to prevent hip problems. I can’t tell if it has any effect, but it has the right ingredients for the job, looks great and came super-fast!

I have a Brittany Spaniel that I love more than life. She is my third Spaniel in my life time. My previous two both suffered from hip problems in their mid-adult life and it was very heartbreaking to see. I discussed this with my vet with Lilly being 2 years old and he recommended I start supplementing with collagen and the usual human hip supplements (glucosamine, etc). She's only 2 so she flies around at 1,000 miles an hour like Brittanys do. So why the hip supplements so young I ask? Apparently dogs collagen production slows down way faster than human's collagen production does and especially dogs with genetic dispositions with hip problems need to start upping their collagen intake early on to keep the production high.For $25 and a possibility of avoiding early adult hip problems it was a no brainer. I feed Lilly crazy expensive dog food so compared to that this is a bargain and it serves multiple functions.No more stinky fish oil - I used to buy fish oil for her coat (it's dry where I live and keeping care of her coat is important to stave off skin issues). I sound like a crazy dog person but after losing two best friends and having them age poorly I'm not making that cheap-o mistake again. The flax in this has as good or better Omegas than fish oils do and she doesn't have stinky fish burps and farts anymore haha.Stop reading here if you're not the poop-picker-upper in your home. Lilly's poops have always been a bit thin and annoying to pick up and a little concerning. She's a turn in circles pooper and would leave weird trails of thin super-annoying-to-pick-up lawn deposits. I don't pickup that often so I don't know how long it took to kick in but on me next journey to clean the lawn I found full, normal looking brown logs in the lawn that are a cinch to pick up. No streaks, no runny poos, just nice big poops which seem to stink less? Not sure if that's a thing but it's less messy to pick up. Her circling poops are now about 1/2 - 3/4 or a circle instead of 2 full circles like it used to be. Yes I'm a weirdo for observing these things; but what good parent doesn't inspect their kiddos poos.It's a good joint product that hopefully extends her young, super active years and leads to a pain free adulthood. Who knows, only time will tell. Her poops are better though and I don't have to buy fish oil anymore, so 10/10 on those points. This will be a staple for sure.

I have two dogs, one is 11 and other is 9. I wanted to start giving them something for their joints. I looked around for a while, then I found this. I give the big one two scoops a day and the smaller one 1/2 a scoop. They love it!! I put the scoop on top of their dry food (Pure Balance) they lick the powder first and then move on to eat the rest of their food. Neither had a digestive problem when I introduced it. I will definitely stock up.

I like the fact that this is a powder that the dogs like and has flax seed and liver included. There’s 600mg Glucosamine & 500mg Condroitin in each scoop. Started my cocker spaniel on it 1 mo. ago and it’s now working to ease her stiffness in her hind legs. It takes 4-6 weeks to be fully effective. I give her 1/2 scoop twice a day — she’s a 30lb. dog.

Not bad, I believed it help with my aging dog's hips. Since I had him on other supplements, it is hard to say if it worked but since my dog did not seem to regress, I am assuming it did. I am giving it a four star due to the powder, can be a bit mess. I prefer the tablets but I may order it again in the future.

Saw results in my dogs movement in 3 months. My dog has early onset joint issues and this really helped her movement. She is now more active and is moving more pain-free than ever before. Really appreciate this brand and this product! Cannot recommend it enough for anybody with dogs that have issues like mine does, or older dogs.

I’ve got two dogs and they both start drooling on the floor when they see me pull this out to put on their dog food. I put one heaping scoop on both of their food breakfast and dinner. Good multi purpose hip and joint supplement that takes care of joints and is a good gut health product. The fiber and healthy fats seem to help with their digestion too. They go nuts over the beef liver in it, I wish they liked the treats I give them as much as they do this. I feel bad about them eating dry food out of my pantry every day, it feels good to give them some whole foods that require refrigeration after opening. Foods that last forever in any condition are suspect to me. I like the freshness of this. My older dog seems happier and more playful. I’ll update this in another month.
