In The Night Garden ... A Musical Journey ... The Album

To us, this CD has been a life-saver! When my son was 18 months, he suddenly wouldn't go to sleep calmly on his own as previously. Four months of trying various methods left us all worn out, until one evening I decided to play the In The Night Garden CD instead of his usual calming music. That was the first night in four months he wasn't crying and calling for us, and one of us staying with him for the 45-60 minutes it took for him to fall asleep. I thought it was a fluke, but here we are, almost a month later, and he still snuggles up with his teddy as soon as the music starts, and is asleep within half an hour. I've taken out some of the more energetic songs and do find that the volume balance between the speech and the music is slightly off, but apart from that I can't praise it enough. I'm not sure if he would have enjoyed listening to it during the day, though, but as a sleeping tool it has been just the thing for us!

This is great. We have it in the car, my toddler daughter loves it. And it is relaxing, often sending her to sleep. The sound quality is POOR though which irritates me no end. The sound levels are ALL OVER THE PLACE! Very annoying.

It's top drawer!!Did find 3 yr old and 1 yr old disorientated by cd of this in house ( plonked themselves down in front of TV ), so decided to keep it as car material.Really decent stuff!! I'm hoping they'll take memories of this mellow show into their older years and have fond memories of these days!!!!The "Bod" of the next generation, maybe.........Worth getting the cd if tots like show, it's nice music, and my two truly buzz off listening to it.Takes some of the stress out of traffic jams!!!!!!!!

This is a lovely cd which is used every night as our son’s bedtime routine. He’s asleep by track 4 without fail!

Special music for Night Garden fans - 2 year old loves it.

Bought this for our Daughter to play at her 1st birthday party. She absolutely loves it! On a recent car journey, she was inconsolable in her car seat, until my husband remembered that we had the CD with us. The minute he pressed play and she heard the opening song, she fell silent and sat there listening for the duration of the whole CD (well, she actually fell asleep before it ended). If your child loves In The Night Garden as much as ours does, it's well worth spending your pennies on!

In the Night Garden中で使用されたほぼ全ての曲がカバーされています．ただのサントラとは違い，劇中の小ストーリー(皆でOg-Poggを追いかける話等)をいくつか繋げて台詞もストーリーも楽しめるようになっていますので子供は毎日のように聞いて楽しんでいます．45分間保ちますのでビデオよりも効率が良いかもしれません．

If your little one likes In the Night Garden, this is a must-have. It begins with the theme, and has every song, theme, noise and character on the show. It's a good length, and I don't know how it could be more complete. My only issue, if I had one, is the the Ninky Nonk theme is the second track, following the beautiful opening theme for the show, and the Ninky Nonk is very loud and busy, so if used to put your little one down for a nap, could be problematic! Really great CD, can't recommend enough. And for those who thought it was a movie, perhaps too much Pinky Ponk juice...

This CD has all the songs from the show and my son loves it! We put it on before nap and bedtime, and it's very lulling. The perfect CD to calm my son down and get him ready to sleep. He's a Makka Pakka fan, so I program it to play only the first and last song and the Makka Pakka song and we play it a few times on repeat and he's done and out for the count. A great buy if your child likes the show.

I am a big fan of the show. My two-year-old and I watch it on the Spanish-language version of CeeBeebies. This CD was the first time we heard the show in English. I was pleased with Derek Jacobi's performance, but my favorite part was the opening and closing theme.
