Easy to Set-Up and Use
This was a replacement for an earlier product. Set-Up could not have been simpler, just changed the disks from the failed unit and followed the instructions to migrate all settings and data. "Done and Dusted". A very effective NAS for home use.

Easy to upgrade
Was really easy to upgrade from my previous 10 year old NAS. Simply swap the drives over and run through the wizard 🪄. Works faster than my previous and not loss of data or configuration.

Good quality, simple to set up.
NAS drive has been up for a month now and all working well. It was much simpler to set up than my old one (different brand, many years ago).

Simple to use, quiet.
First came with a faulty fan. Bit anoyed had to wait 15 days for refund, was good to be offered a replacement or fix. The NAS is ok, software simple and easy to use. Perfect to have pictures and videos on it. I use 2 TB WD red drives, very quiet.

Wished i had purchased one sooner
I bought it to do the heavy lifting of running the Emby and Surveillance servers instead of my computer which it does very well along with backing up my computer once a week. With the surveillance suite i get all the perks of a Tapo camera subscription without the monthly/ annual cost. I was pleasantly surprised i got picture alerts to my apple watch as well. I’m very happy i bought the Synology and there are plenty of helpful videos online.

È un dispositivo ben costruito, silenzioso e molto intuitivo, ideale per chi vuole centralizzare file, backup e multimedialità senza complicazioni. 🔹 Perché merita 5 stelle: Facilità d’uso: la configurazione iniziale è semplice e guidata, anche per chi non è esperto. Software Synology DSM: l’interfaccia è potente, ben organizzata e offre tantissime funzioni (backup automatici, condivisione file, accesso remoto, app multimediali, ecc.). Flessibilità: i due alloggiamenti permettono di scegliere tra varie configurazioni RAID o uso indipendente dei dischi. Affidabilità: il sistema è stabile, e il NAS gestisce bene carichi di lavoro anche con più utenti collegati. Silenziosità: funziona in modo silenzioso, cosa che si apprezza soprattutto in ambienti domestici. In sintesi: un NAS versatile, potente e facile da gestire, perfetto per backup, storage in rete o streaming multimediale. 5 stelle meritate! 💾📂✨
