There is something relaxing about a room filled with natural light that electric lighting just can't duplicate. With the 14" Radiant Skylight Tube from US Sunlight Solar natural light can be captured from the roof and tunneled in to just about any room in a home. Adding natural light to rooms of your home will help cut down on the dependency of electric lighting and thus help you save money on electric bills. The Radiant Skylight Tube installs on the roof of a home without having to make major structural changes or do any reframing. The flexible tubing tunnels 91% of light transmission from the roof lens to the desired household room and can be extended to as much as 6 feet. Its round, single diffuser, roof lens is made of hail resistant acrylic and has a 264 lb live load capacity. US Sunlight Solar recommends that installation of the Radiant Skylight Tube should only be done on an asphalt shingle roof and that it should take about 2 hours for a professional or about one afternoon for a DIY'er. This Skylight Tube is severe weather tested (pending approval from Florida).

Quality product and Easy to install. Provides great amount of light
This product is very good quality with clear skylight and nice frosted inside diffuser. It was very easy to install and provides a large amount if light to my dark hallway. Just ordered another for a dark bathroom. Best price around!

Well made, but instructions inaccurate, lower light transmission
This tubular skylight was made well and installation was a snap. I chose this unit because it had the flexible tube instead of the rigid tubes due to my ceiling location not being directly under the roof location and there was little room to work in. When I purchased the skylight I was counting on the description being accurate on the length of the tube, 72". However, when I received the skylight and read the installation instructions it warns you that the total length from roof opening to ceiling opening cannot exceed 5 1/2' ( 66"). Thankfully I found that was bogus and the actual length of the tube was more than 72" and I had plenty of tube for my installation. I am pleased with the light that it provides but I can tell you that it does not provide as much light as my other rigid tubular skylight. I give it four stars because of the instructions "scare" and somewhat lower light transmission.

The is the worse product I have ever bought
The is the worse product I have ever bought. The light from the tunnel is so dim because of the quality of the tunnel. I spent $200 to buy newextension tube. Now I have light way way better than the flex tube that came with the product. But when my contractor try to snap the ceiling len to the ceiling frame, it didn't fit, because the len is smaller than the frame. Worst product I've ever seen.

It is not anything like a skylight
This does not light up 10 square feet. It is not anything like a skylight. The cost is a rip off for what you get. DO NOT INSTALL THIS PRODUCT!!! alot of work for very little results. Hugh disappointment.....

Five Stars
Excellent light output in our basement stairwell! Wish I would have done it sooner. It's awesome!

I looked at the work from across the street and did not like the black part of the flashing sticking out like ...
I originally bought five but I decided to install only four. I installed three into a vaulted ceiling and one in a garage. Since the garage's ceiling was lower, it had more of a spotlight effect. The vaulted ceiling installation flooded light throughout the room. I was going to install two in my living room, but decided not to because it would have been too much light. Installation was easier than I imagined. First one took me about three hours while the other ones averaged about 1.5 hours at most. Once the installation was complete, I looked at the work from across the street and did not like the black part of the flashing sticking out like a sore thumb. I went and bought roofing granules that were close to my roof's color. I spread a little bit of tar on the black part and sprinkled it with the granules. I think it looks better now and the only thing seen is the clear bulb from the street. The only reason I put four stars was because the product came damaged from shipping. I had to spend time on two lights because the flashings were bent and I had to straighten them out. Both inside pictures were from rooms with virtually zero light before the install.

Regret!!!
Would not purchase again. One of my biggest financial blunders during our remodel. Provides absolutely no light just a blue glow in the ceiling that is worthless. Not a good buy.
