I bought this adapter for my now not so new MacBook Pro.I've had a few USB adapters in the past but I decided I needed one with both Thunderbolt connectors and an SD card so I could more easily transfer my photos to my different storage devices. When I saw that this was quite expensive, I hesitated, but after seeing that the device was Amazon's choice I thought ho-hum and purchased the device.When it arrived, I was immediately very pleased because the device managed to plug into both of the USB C Ports without getting caught on the case I have on my MacBook Pro.In terms of functionality, data transfer between the ports is exceptionally fast and I have absolutely no complaints - the speed of transfer makes me glad I don't have to deal with standard USBs anymore.The design of this is also very nice and the space grey colour matches perfectly to the MacSo in terms of speed, quality, size, effectiveness and looks this product is an all round gem. It's quite expensive, but its an all-in one adapter - and given that the Apple ones are even more expensive, you can hardly complain about paying this much for an item which will save you so much time by not having to faff around with other adapters.Brilliant!

Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes!When I first purchased my MacBook Pro (2016) I took one look at the ports (or lack thereof) and thought "only USB-C?!" This adapter is essential. It's well made, solid as a rock, the perfect colour match, and functional. It has every input you can think of (1xUSB-C, 1xThunderbolt 3, 1xHDMI, 2xUSB 3.0, 1xSD, 1xMicro SD) and I've not had a problem with anything so far.All-in-all, this is a great hub and a much better value than Apple's own (which for nearly £60 only has half of the ports this does).

A brilliant piece of kit, that easily allows me to replace the USB ports that Apple so thoughtfully removed. Many of us still use pieces of technology that connect to our computers via USB or (or SD card) and having lost them on recent Apple computers was highly inconvenient. This little piece of kit not only works, but matches your MacBook Pro and looks as if it's meant to be there. I would recommend gentle handling in fitting and removing the device, as it's stability depends on the strength of the two small USB C plugs that connect it to the computer - that said, it goes everywhere with me.

Thought this was great on first look, but I have a protective case on my Mac and that stops the adapter connecting properly. I mistakenly thought that buying an expensive adapter was the best option but this isn’t suited for use with a case, so I subsequently bought a £6 version for thunderbolt to usb and they’re fab.Probably a great product but not really suitable in my case which is a shame. Will still use for other ports so definitely useful and customer service has been great. Would recommend but if like me you have a protective case you'll need to remove it before use.

This product is AMAZING !!! I received a new Mac Book Pro as a Christmas present and realised that I needed something to allow me to use USBs and SD cards without spending a Hughe amount of money. Apple did not offer all of these functions in one but this product does and it works fantastically.The product itself is small so it allows me to carry it everywhere without taking up space in my bag and it works so smoothly. I would much rather have this than the apple branded models.It arrived very very quickly and came in good packaging.I would highly recommend this product!

This is the one and only accessory your new Macbook Pro needs to cover most cases of connectivity and enable smooth and fast workflow. Extremely light, extremely portable it attaches very firmly to the left side of the laptop and stays there! It offers fast transfer rates and just to be safe I keep one more permanently in the laptop bug, just in case I forget the first. Most satisfied!!!

Works perfectly and looks really good when connected to the MacBook. Doesn't look out of place like some on the other products I was looking at
