Powered by a digital brushless motor, this versatile 18v Li-ion Angle Grinder can be used for an array of grinding and cutting applications. The long-run 4.0Ah batteries (sold separately) typically provide 15-20 minutes grinding performance each, so you can enjoy the freedom of cordless for longer. Features a shaped ergonomic soft-grip handle, which provides comfortable continuous operation and reverse fit battery that helps to prevent restriction in use. The Kielder KWT-007 ticks all of the boxes for fast, effective grinding - POWER. ENDURANCE. BALANCE. (Bare unit only - batteries and charger sold separately). Kielder products are developed from the kind of hands-on knowledge that you only get in the workshop or service park, rather than a boardroom. Simply put... We like to use tools. So we've created a range that we enjoy using day-to-day and we're sure you will too.

**UPDATED** Might be up to the job.
Second update***Still running very well, and increasingly being borrowed at work by colleagues. Had no other problems with it at all, and am relying on it more and more. Not bad!First update***After terrible performance from the grinder, I sent it back to Kielder (easy process and fast turn-around) and now I've had it back at work for 2 weeks and I've been hammering it to see if it'll take it (no point keeping it if it won't). It's been great. No issues of over heating or cutting out, even with long periods of grinding (grinder wheels). Battery life is pretty good considering these (any brand) grinders are very hard on batteries.Battery life example: in the workshop at work, I get several days out of a charge on my 1/2 impact wrench (Kielder 700nm version), whereas the grinder will will flatten a battery in 20 minutes. It's the nature of the tool though, and it's the same story with my friend's posh Milwaukee.I'd give this 4 stars if it still runs well in a couple of months.*****Original Review: Not bad build wise but after 5 minutes of work, it cuts out . The gearbox gets far hotter than the Milwaukee version so I wonder if the thermal cutout is the problem. Either way, not any use for serious work and too pricey for odd jobbers. It's a shame as their impact wrenches seem pretty decent so far but the torch and grinder are hopeless.
