It's okay, just not as good as KH2
Not as good as the KH2 soundtrack, but then, almost nothing about the first game was as good as the sequel. The boss battle music in particular is much uglier on this soundtrack than on the KH2 one.As far as I can tell it's got all the background music from the different worlds and the cutscenes, as well as the theme song and its opening remix, sung by Hikaru Utada ("Hikari" if you buy the Japanese version, "Simple And Clean" for the English version). To my pleased surprise, the song sounds really good in both languages. The Orchestra Instrumental Version of it is also really nice. The last two songs on disc 2 are bonus tracks.DISC 1Dearly BelovedHIKARI -KINGDOM Orchestra Instrumental VersionSimple And Clean -PLANITb Remix- [Short Edit] *or "Hikari -PLANITb Remix- [Short Edit]" in the Japanese version*Dive Into the Heart -Destati-Destiny IslandsBustin' Up on the BeachMickey Mouse Club MarchTreasured MemoriesStrange WhispersKairi IIt Began with a LetterA Walk in AndanteNight of FateDestiny's ForceWhere is This?Traverse TownThe Heartless Has ComeShrouding Dark CloudBlast Away! -Gummi Ship I-Tricksy ClockWelcome to WonderlandTo Our SurpriseTurning the KeyOlympus ColiseumRoad to a HeroGo for It!No Time to ThinkDeep JungleHaving a Wild TimeHoly Bananas!Squirming EvilHand in HandKairi IIMerlin's Magical HouseWinnie the PoohBounce-o-ramaJust an Itty Bitty Too MuchOnce Upon a TimeShipmeisters' HumoresquePrecious Stars in the SkyBlast Away! -Gummi Ship II-DISC 2A Day in AgrabahArabian DreamVillains of a SortA Very Small WishMonstrous MonstroFriends in My HeartUnder the SeaAn Adventure in AtlanticaA Piece of PeaceAn Intense SituationThe Deep EndThis is HalloweenSpooks of Halloween TownOopsy-DaisyCaptain Hook's Pirate ShipPirate's GigueNever Land SkyKairi IIIBlast Away! -Gummi Ship III-Hollow BastionScherzo di notteForze del maleHIKARI -KINGDOM HEARTS Instrumental Version-MiracleEnd of the WorldFragments of SorrowGuardando nel buioBeyond the DoorAlways on My MindSimple And Clean *or "Hikari" in the Japanese version*Marce Caprice for Piano and OrchestraHand in Hand -Reprise-Dearly Beloved -Reprise-Having a Wild Time -Previous Version-Destati

Sort of complete soundtrack
I bought this version of the Kingdom Hearts sound track because I love the Japanese music, and I was looking for a specific version of Simple and Clean in Japanese. The version I was looking for I knew about through a friend, and the CD I have of it got scratched, so the song no longer plays. Well, these 9 CD's did not have the version of Simple and Clean that I was looking for. However, there were 3 other versions of it, included on the CDs, so I'm not upset. This set has 229 songs, and they range from 16 seconds to almost 8 minutes long. When the box says it is in Japanese, it really does mean it. I was very surpised to find that at the beginning of CD (from Kingdom Hearts 2) it is the part where you have to sing with Ariel and Sebastian. Well, if you buy these CD's you will have the Japanese versions of those songs like Under the Sea, and Part of Your World.Although the CD's did not have the song I was looking for, I really was pleased with this buy. The only songs they could add to it would be the version of Simple and Clean that I was looking for (it starts out with a heart beat way before the singer starts up it's the only one that I have heard that does), and the English versions of the songs.

Such a Nostalgic OST Compilation!!!
This compilation of soundtracks from the Kingdom Hearts series is worth its price! You get 226 songs (8 Hours & 50 minutes) of Epic Music and Reminiscent Melodies. You get:76 songs from Kingdom Hearts 1 (2 hours & 26 minutes)46 songs from Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories (1 hour & 46 minutes)95 songs from Kingdom Hearts 2 (3 hours & 58 minutes)plus some bonus tracksIf you're a kingdom hearts fan of not only the game aspect but as well as the musical part of it, Then I highly recommend.NOTE: Most of the vocal songs, if not all of them, are in Japanese; That's not a dealbreaker for me since I'm an anime guy and I love listening to jpop/jrock anyway but some people might want to hear the english vocals instead. If that is a big deal for you, then you might want to buy each ost individually although that's pretty pricey. its either get a cheaper bundle of kingdom hearts osts in japanese or buy expensive individual osts in englsih. To each their own

Let your heart be your guiding key!
I ordered a used cd set, and it was perfect. Music is perfect, straght from the games. And finally, the music goes straight to your heart.

The OST set to end all OST sets
The 9-CD set includes every single original soundtrack used in the three Kingdom Hearts games released as of 2007 (Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories). This is the best set to buy if you haven't bought any Kingdom Hearts OST yet, and it also includes a few previously unreleased tracks that you cannot get elsewhere. However, if you're only looking for songs from a specific game, I'd recommend getting that game's single OST CD instead. If the odd product title and lack of stock in western stores haven't clued you in yet, this item is from Japan and all lyrics are in Japanese, so there are tracks that never appeared or were altered for the English release. I've read some reviews in other Kingdom Hearts music products that indicated disappointment about their not being in English. If you're looking for the English versions of songs like "Hikari" (Simple and Clean) and "Passion" (Sanctuary), they are not included in this OST set.

Kingdom Hearts Video Game Soundtrack
Man have I been waiting and waiting for this!I bought it from simplethings7 who is a super seller. This BOX SET has the complete music from the Kingdom Hearts games; plus extras from final mix games and secret extras at the end of each game. But i must say that all the opening songs and ending songs that are in this set, are in Japanese. Other than that, great buy.
