Great for price
- Comes with hair clip, two scrunchies, one headband, and the curling bone-Curls do work. I’m not so good with it yet, though doable, and not so bothering when kept on.

Not for me
I cannot figure out the tactic to make the curls stay

Takes a lot of practice.
So I’ve noticed a few things when using this curler.First- the curler doesn’t stay in place even if you leave the hair clip attached. I have used it before bed and in the morning where I would wear it during the day without laying my head on a pillow and it still slides back on my head.Secondly- My hair doesn’t stay securely wrapped. When I first wrap my hair around the curler, it will be nice and tight but as it dries, the hair at the top starts to loosen so my hair only gets curled really well at mid shaft on down.Third- There are no instructions provided with it so unless you do some searches online for videos you really are on your own to figure it out. I came back to the product page and the instructions on one of the images only made things more confusing. I ended just trying it different ways to see which way I liked best.I found that having the hair mostly dry before wrapping it allows the hair to dry more quickly so one doesn’t have to wear it as long.I also liked adding in a texture spray after shampooing and conditioning and then wrapping my hair while still wet, sleeping with it wrapped, and then finishing it off in the morning with a medium-to-low hair dry setting also helped.Fourth- The hair ponies that are provided can create marks in the ends of your hair if you don’t quite have your hair wrapped really well at the ends.Overall, I do think this is worth the price I paid for it because if care is taken when the hair is wrapped, the curl is very nice.Tips: I found that using hair clips at the top helped keep the top of the hair wrapped instead of coming loose so I was able to get the curl to start a little higher up than mid-shaft.I also found that using a hair clip helped keep one section of hair from coming loose while wrapping another section of hair until I was ready to add the ponies at the ends.I also found that you don’t want the curler to go straight down the side of your head. You’ll want to start at the top and then go at a slight angle towards the back of your head or the back sections of hair will only be curled at the very ends since most of the hair will just be stretched to reach the curler near the side of the head.I was also never able to get it to work or stay in place by attempting to braid this into the hair as the image suggests.

These don’t work for me…
I’m not sure if it’s just my hair type or what, but these didn’t work very well on me.

Favorite Product
This is by far one of my favorite products. My hair got so much healthier once i switched to this and stopped using heat on my hair. The curls come out perfect and last all day - better than a curling iron and you are not burning your hair off.

This is my daily glam up
My daughter and I both use these and they work for center part, side part, naturally curly hair (mine) and very straight hair (hers). I don't use any styling products. I just blow dry on medium until almost dry and roll it up before bed. No damage and holds curl all day for my hair type. After about a year the ends of this thing got really skinny and pinched from the hair ties and the ends of my hair started to curl like a kinky spiral perm. No thank you.So I decided I'd get some new ones on temu because the price was so cheap. Big mistake. Those are hard foam, noisy when I move around and I wake up with a headache every morning from laying on the lumps. I'm back on here getting one of these because they feel great to sleep in and last almost a year with nightly or every other night use. More of a memory foam than a styrofoam. Don't be tempted but the cheap ones. They're garbage. These are the ones you want.

Cheap
This product is not very durable and it didn’t even curl my hair! It may work for some people but it didn’t for me. I would recommend trying someone else’s before you go and waist your money on something that doesn’t even work for you.

It does work
I was skeptical when first buying this product because honestly, it looks like it wouldn't work. But it actually works. One thing I don't like about it is; I have found that sleeping in it is kind of uncomfortable and the couple times I have done that the curls have not turned out very well. And one of the times I slept in it the band slipped back on my head. I think if I kept the clip on top of my head it probably wouldn't have done that. But the way I do it the the curls turn out great! I lightly dampen my hair with a spray bottle and pop it on for a couple hours in the morning. This typically works out great for me because I am a stay at home mom. Highly recommend for other moms because doing your hair is so easy, you can leave the band curler in your hair while taking care of the kiddos and then when your ready to leave the house you just take it out, run your fingers through your hair and bam you have hair that looks like you spent time styling it!! Just for reference my hair is a medium length. Also a good video to watch on how to wrap your hair around the heatless band curler is from "Effortless Beauty" on youtub.

Defective plus...
I found it too big and I have very long hair, doesn't fall straight, instead it moves around a lot Even with the clip, was bent in different areas, was not what I expected.

Not velvet material
It's not velvet. It's not even satin. It's some cheap silk. Plus the headband is missing.
