TheraSol Tartar Dissolver/Remover - (Remove Tartar Between Visits)

I have good dental health and all my teeth, but I have not been to the dentist in 25+ years. I was only aware of 2 minor plaque deposits on my upper pre and 1st molars before a hard food chipped a piece off the back of my bottom front teeth. It's not an easy place to see, I was surprised to serious build up. I have been addressing the visible areas over time and within the first couple of weeks the molar deposits softened and reduced dramatically. I scraped off the bulk and the rest has brushed away 100% since. The back of my teeth has taken much longer to remove. After 3 months there is about 10% remaining of what it was and it is soft and easy to scrape. However, the area is not easy to address without injury, so I have been leaving it mainly to brushing alone. I have done some soaking, holding the tarter dissolver in my mouth for a couple minutes before brushing, but overall I have added very little effort in using this product. I also use it much less than when I first got it. 4-5 times a week on average now, instead of twice a day. It is days within the 3 month mark since I received the product, and since then over 90% of 25+ years of plaque build up has been reduced. I think that is amazing results. Perhaps others do not commit, or expect instant results, or maybe somehow it really doesn't work for them, but I don't know how a chemical reaction can be different person to person. Sharing my story has inspired 4 friends to get it as well and they are also very happy with the results. I have nothing bad to say about this product. I am very grateful to have found it. For me it has been 100% effective at removing build up and inhibiting regrowth. Tarter is something I will never have to be concerned with again.

I am super pleased with this product. It has been a week and I see clearing where a bit of tartar was trying to build up and now is gone. I use an electric pick that sends vibrations to breakup tartar but it wasn't as effective as I wanted it to be. So I tried this product in my phillips water pick so I could direct the solution to the area I was concerned about. Well it worked. Twice a day, followed up with my sonic pick and the tartar lifted away. I continue to use the powder in a maintenance mode daily. As a person with alot of allergies I am pleased to report no negative reactions in using the product. As always if you follow me on any of my platforms I always advise read labels to ensure ingredients in products will not negatively impact your health even the organics, natural, vegan etc. Read labels My use of the product is great it does what it says "loosens tartar"

Like the title says, I'm ordering my second bottle. I've always had many problems with my teeth from the time my adult teeth came in, one of which was fast tartar buildup. I don't have dental insurance and I haven't for a few years and was looking for something to help until I have dental insurance again or the extra money to pay out of pocket. My first bottle didn't get rid of the tartar like magic. At most it's only lessened it slightly and one tiny piece of tartar has come off while flossing, but while I've been using this powder I've have had no new buildup at all. My teeth also feel wonderfully smooth and clean. I also had pockets in my gums on my lower incisors which ruptured about two years ago and exposed some of the teeth which are usually covered by gums. I'll have to have a gum graft when I have insurance again. Although I don't have nerve pain in the teeth, this has been very painful with the torn gums. The area has to be kept very clean so it doesn't lead to worse problems and the gums get inflamed, red, and very painful easily. This product has significantly helped with gently cleaning that area without causing more pain. My gums in the damaged area rarely get red and bleed now and this product removes the soft plaque buildup on the newly exposed teeth thoroughly before it can become a problem. Another benefit is that my breath, which I feel would get yucky between brushing in the morning to brushing in the evening, stays completely fresh when I use this product. I used to always have a toothbrush in my desk in the office to freshen up at midday so my breath wouldn't be offensive to myself or others. Not anymore, I'm super fresh all day! Also, zero morning breath. And I mean none. It doesn't cover up odor with a minty scent, there is simply no odor other than if I've recently eaten something like garlic or onions. My husband even started using it for the long-term freshness and he has perfect teeth without the type of dental problems I have. After regular brushing with toothpaste and flossing, I dump a scoop of the product directly into my mouth, take a mouthful of water, swish vigorously around and then brush with a very soft toothbrush. It doesn't taste good at all, there is no flavoring, but the bad taste isn't unmanageable. I've gotten used to it. I also am almost at the end of a bottle of the TheraSol premix mouthwash for additional swishing. With my problems, tag-teaming the two products seemed like a good idea. I'm not exactly using the powder as they suggest, but there didn't seem to be much of a difference in mixing the powder in a cup with water first vs mixing it with water in my mouth and swishing vigorously to mix before using a toothbrush. The way the product desolves in water and the texture is the same. Over all, this is an effective product for dental hygiene, especially if you can't get to the dentist as often as you'd like. So far, it hasn't "removed" my plaque, but it is a great maintenance product to stop more build up from happening, gently but thoroughly cleans even those areas prone to irritation, redness, and pain, and keeps my breath from smelling like anything at all. If I had the choice of giving half stars, I'd give a 4.5. The .5 star I'd take away since it doesn't really remove plaque as quickly as it advertises (at least not for me) but the other benefits are so good I still rate it very highly. I've read it can take longer to remove some bonds between plaque and teeth depending on the person, so I'm going to keep using it. If you have actual dental problems with plaque, painful gums, or can't get dential care due to lack of insurance, I'd recommend trying this product and keep using it through one or two bottles to give it time to work. If you have great, unproblematic teeth and just want them whiter, this product won't do much for you except help with bad breath.

Seems to make a difference but waiting to have teeth cleaned professionally to be sure

i have used for two years now every day one swish. at six month dental hygenist said i had no tartar at all, just plaque. then i stopped using for awhile... next cleaning involved lots of hard scraping. then i resumed use, everyday, and next cleaning no tartar at all! so. it works. for plaque i just started using therasol mouth rinse with xylitol. the xylitol is supposed to prevent plaque adhesion. so we will see. i also use the therasol tartar remover on my dogs using fabric finger toothbrushes to just gently moisten each tooth with the solution-nothing to spit out. DO NOT use any xylitol product with dogs as it is poison to dogs. i make half cup of tartar remover solution at a time with four scoops of powder. i just barely kiss it each day to get enough to swish around probably a teaspoon. then spit. the tartar remover is proven to eliminate and prevent tartar. not sure about the xylitol and preventing plaque just yet... will report... by the way my first review was one star at six months because im a dumbhead. sorry. dont expect it to just remove all tartar by itself the first time. it softens it then get a cleaning then use daily and yeah you'll have no tartar.

does not work at all

I'll come back and rate this product again after my next hygentist visit to see if it's working as well as it feels like it's working, but that's a little in the future. I have a mouth full of fillings, caps, and now implants plus lost teeth so I'm desperate to keep my remaining teeth as long as possible. I started using this and the Therasol wash in the past couple of months. I used the tartar dissolver for two weeks as directed and my teeth felt great. Just like a thorough cleaning by the hygienist. Then I began using it every-other-day with 1 1/2 scoops for another week and went to the every-other-day with the 1/2 scoop as directed. I can feel the difference when I travel and forget to bring the product. My teeth feel funky. My nightly ritual is clean with a rubber tip (I have deep gums), floss, brush, clean with ViaJet Pro water pick, use this on the odd days, and always swish with the Therasol wash. And my teeth feel fantastic.

I use this about every other day or when I feel roughness on my teeth. My family are a collective of tartar machines, and every time I go to the dentist they sigh and moan over it, and the last time I went the Valley Girl hygienist told meh ah neh-ded ah dehp cleh-neng so Ah cahd kehp mah teth lahn-gehr. I'm finding a new dentist. This stuff will buy me some time while I'm shopping around. It doesn't have much taste, but it leaves your mouth feeling fresh, which is a nice plus. It helps whiten your teeth slightly, because it dissolves the tartar. It's a lot easier to floss because there's no rock-like buildup.
