Each piece was in a foam sleeve. Then when you removed them each plasitic?/acrilic? peice has a thin flim to protect it from being scratched. I AM VERY HAPPY with how well protected it was while being shipped 5/5*Product quality*The product itself is very beautiful! My boyfriend was very excited to see it! Very clean lines, great colors, and shiny/glossy appearance! This dust cover was higher quality than I expected! 5/5*Shipping*The Shipping took a while, but I was aware of how long it would take to ship. It came from outside the United States. It arrived on time! 4.5/5*Assembly/Directions* Difficulty:easy!The product was not assembled. You will need to put it together yourself. I did not receive any directions in my dustcover. I bought this product with no reviews and just the information on the listing. So, I do not know if that is normal or not. It took me a few attempts to figure out how to assemble it. Basically the edges of the peices have channels/groves that you slide the peices together. I made a video of how to put it together. It was not difficult to figure out for me. I like to build stuff and often build other products for friends and family. Overall the assembly was super easy anyone could do this. It really should come with directions or a video to help you know how to build it. Hopefully they can change that in the future. I am giving it a 4/5 because it really should have directions but build it was super easy. 4/5*How to use the product/listing*With or without the switch on the dock. Pick up dust cover and sit over it. The listing was not very clear about how to use it. I didn't see anything detailed enough to understand what to do. Just one picture by itself. 2.5/5*Overall thoughts*I am very happy with my purchase and my boyfriend loves it to death! I was very surprised at the quality. Great for any zelda fans! I was very hesitant to buy without any reviews or videos. I would buy again. I thought it was supposed to fit on dock like a case or decals. That is not what this product does. The dust cover is intended to cover the dock/switch. Kinda like putting a box over it. Threre are cutoutss on the side. Hopefully, that should keep the switch cool and not hot. I highly recommend this product. My only criticisms are the slow shipping, lack of pictures/videos in description, and no directions. Other than that the dustcover exceeded my expectations in quality. I will update if needed.

Great dust cover! Easy installation too! I snapped a small piece of one corner because I was expecting some resistance when sliding the larger sides. So I push harder then I needed. Thankfully, when it was all put together the piece was locked into place!The designs are amazing too! Wonderful quality!

Love the design. Wish on the inside it had color onto the image instead of white.

I wanted a Custom Controller and it turned into a hole Custom Mod Switch. From back plate to cover the switch its self is Custom Mod.

The media could not be loaded.  The installation was confusing since it was shipped with no directions but after a few minutes of trying I finally got it together. The product took almost a month to get but it was totally worth the wait. Never owned a dust cover for any of my systems so this is a first.

The media could not be loaded.  The design is great, that's what drew me to this product, but after it arrived, it seems backwards with the Eye design on the front/back and top, they are required to face opposite directions and that seems like a weird design choice.It only assembles one way, so there's no way around that design. But it doesn't feel like quality plastic. There's nothing to keep it from moving around if someone bumps it, and nothing to lock it into place when assembled.

This product is simply for show and is in no way practical or good for your switch. Sure it'll keep dust off of the switch and have it in a fancy box for display, but if you actually plan on using your switch, this is bad for your switch. You're basically trapping all the heat that's being exhausted from the switch and because the switch is covered, the heat has no where to go. You're overheating the switch, it has no access to fresh air, and it's just really bad for the thermals. This is great if you plan on having your switch on display only, but do not use this product if you plan on actually using your switch otherwise your switch will die sooner.
