After leaving our 10x10 E-Z Up Canopy (with straight, NOT angled, vertical legs) outside for several weeks a few summers ago (during which there were multiple rain storms), we realized that the rainwater had pooled in the original canopy top, significantly stretching out the fabric. (Whoops!) Since then, I've been looking (somewhat casually) for a replacement canopy top. Knowing that we were planning to host several outdoor parties this summer, I decided to be more serious about my search. I looked at the E-Z Up site, but was not thrilled at the idea of spending $150 for just the top (I believe we spent less than this when we originally purchased the original E-Z Up, with canopy top and storage bag, more than 15 years ago.)After reading various reviews about similar products, I decided to purchase the Eurmax replacement canopy, and I am thrilled! I bought the top in white, and the total cost at the time of purchase was less than $90, with free shipping. The canopy top fits my E-Z Up 10x10 straight legged frameperfectly - and is a nicer, more substantial fabric than the original. While it doesn't have eyelets (as the original did) to attach it to the frame, it has sewn-in Velcro strips which secure it (my E-Z Up frame has existing Velcro strips on the outside of the legs, to keep the sides of the canopy secure in the wind - the Eurmax canopy top's Velcro strips line up with these.) The Velcro is strong, and holds the canopy top in place, even in a moderate breeze. After use, we removed the canopy top as recommended (rather than folding it up with the frame); it was easy to lift off. We folded it separately and placed it with the frame in the storage bag. Excellent quality and much thicker than the original. Not listed in the product description but it works great on my Core brand 8x8 instant canopy straight leg also purchased from Amazon.

light weight but seems fairly strong. bold color. may want to consider lighter color for strong sun as the fabric does get warm- overall good for the $$

The price was fair and the material seems sturdy. Has velcro around the liner so if you have a solid frame that's good. Also along the inner part of the corner.Fits nicely on a 10x10 with a 4 ft pitch. (Not sure if 4.5 or just 4)Worth the price.

I originally bought this 10x10 with walls probably 5-6 years ago and have loved it-excellent quality and very sturdy. Tried replacing the top because the original started leaking some about a year ago. The new top is way thinner [and does not block the uv like the old (I'd actually need artificial light to see at all inside tent when closed with old top)], had a couple spots with horribly sewn seams, and actually came with seams that you could see daylight through near the peak. This top leaked worse than my 5-6 year old top the first time I used it. I haven't been able to get a response by phone or email since I complained months ago (for returns/exchanges they instruct to contact company directly). I've been waiting for a response before reviewing. So my review: this top replacement is an absolutely terrible product with no customer service to back it. Super disappointing after having such a great experience with the original product.

Eurmax uses thick, high quality materials. Lasted 2 years before tearing. They don't recommend leaving it up as a permanent cover but I left it up for 2 years straight. I suspect a tree branch fell and tore it. Ordered another one exactly like it to replace it.

Great value and very well-made it's a lot thicker than the original EZ - Up tent I had for 10 years. It finally started leaking and I had to replace. I had my reservations because of some mixed reviews that it would fit or not fit the EZ express tent. I decided to take a chance because I needed it for an upcoming art show and I'm glad I did. With one minor adjustment it fit perfectly. You first have to remove the center pole (the one that holds the point of the tent up) and cut approximately 2 inches off and reinserted it. I'll come back and edit this once I measured the pieces we cut off. We tried around an inch or so at a time. The problem with the express 2 is that the original tent point was a lot higher and you have to shorten it. Without doing this you will be unhappy with the fit. The topsides will not fit and the frame will show underneath the top, unless you take out this portion. When the tent frame is not fully extended you can easily lift the pole out to cut.

I love this tent canopy!!!! It fits my 10x10’ frame. And I’m so happy to have waterproof, UV protection and fire retardant. It’s the only one with everything I wanted. Only wish I had my business name on it. Excellent purchase!!!
