Kore Broadcast KB-1 Passive Noise Reduction Headset with Flexible Dynamic Boom Mic for Camera and Production Communication with Carry Case - Not for Aviation Use

Purchased for use with an amateur radio in portable locations and it works very well! Connected to several radio breakouts with a Female XLR balanced to 1/4" unbalanced adapter for the microphone and use a foot pedal PTT switch. Receiving excellent audio reports and find that it rejects ambient noise extremely well! I position the mic about 1/4" away from lips and reports indicate that they are not able to hear noises or nearby conversations that the standard microphone will pass.The headphones are very comfortable and blocks nearby loud noise very well! Wore many hours during a contest this weekend and did not suffer any ear fatigue or head-in-the-vice system syndrome. Looking forward to operating Field Day and the California QSO Party! :)

My partner and I do a high school broadcast in a loud environment. I already had two pair of Audio Technica BPHS1 headsets, but needed a third headset for Coaches interviews in the pressbox. I thought I'd save myself 50 bucks and try these. My partner liked them so well, he's taken these to use instead of the Audio Tech's. My wife says his mic is much clearer than mine on our broadcast. I'm purchasing my second set now. Excellent value at a reasonable price! Oh, and I love the fact the cord is detachable and the headset comes with a a carry case!

I wanted to give these a shot since they only had one review. The price was unbeatable, and the company is very reputable.Everything that is advertised is completely true. Great noise cancellation, comfortable, and a really useful carrying bag.However, one thing they leave out is that the microphone is low quality. For radio events, major broadcasts, and other uses where quality isn't your top priority, these are a must buy. However, for studio uses, and for smaller venues, the poor quality is extremely noticeable. I had tried multiple settings, different rigs, and different audio mixers and the low quality remained throughout.Great product by KORE, just not exactly what I am looking for.

Reminded me of my older Dave Clark pilot headsets. A little heavy but durable. If you have kids working for you that don’t care about equipment than these will last longer. Great sound. If your doing a 3 or more hour remote these can get a bit uncomfortable. Price wise great!

The media could not be loaded.  Audi test attached | I really wanted to like this headset, but the mic on it will not work for broadcasting to audiences. It's really comfortable, sound isolating, and its speakers are decent. These would work great for camera operators or to communicate between the production crew, but, again, not for broadcasting to audiences. I did a sound comparison between this headset and the Audio Technica BPHS1 in the attached video (audio only).

Use for sound board engineering for live events but they are heavy and a little pricey. Otherwise solid product

We don't know if they worked good cause didn't fit the planes jacks. My son just tried them out recently school took for ever to let him go up in the air. Now it's to late to return them so I guess I am out 150.00 and no head phone. Sad

Decent sound reproduction for on-site broadcasting. A bit heavy for long periods.
