8 LED Light Lamp PIR Auto Sensor Motion Detector Wireless

Fantastic service. Around 8 days from China at this amazing price! Bought two of them to test out. The lights work wonderfully & are very bright. The pir sensor is great & the light goes off when it is needed. Easy to install with either the enclosed self-adhesive pad or by a couple of wood screws via holes in the battery compartment. Cover fits well & clips back into place without being loose enough to fall off. Such a superb buy I'm sure I'll be ordering more as they suit my lighting needs perfectly. For the purposes of this being an accurate review, my purchase (via Amazon) was from domire-light (Shenzhen duomeiyuan technology co., LTD) who offered outstanding customer service and were prompt (considering the goods shipped from the far east) and professional. I am not affiliated with this company and my review is given as non biased, free from the promise of payment or reward. I offer no guarentee that if using a different merchant you may receive the same level of service, as this review only relates to my personal experience with the previously mentioned company.

Apart from the long delivery time (it was stated so I should not complain) I would have given this 5stars. The build quality is very good for this price and the PIR works well. The light is simple to use and the power is good for lighting up an area such as a door, it gives enough light to distinguish the correct key from a bundle of keys and gives enough light to see the key hole. It is perfect to light up a footpath or a small shed etc. I would not recommend using the stick on tab as this will come off when one wants to replace the AA batteries. I have used 2 small screws and the casing is solid. All in all a great purchase - I am purchasing more of these.

Took ages to arrive, then when it did, it was smaller than expected. However, it is a great little light. I placed it on my shed at the end of the garden, to light up the gate a little bit, and it does just that. Not that bright, but it gives enough light so you can see the end of the path and the gate latch. Description says it can be used outside, but the instructions with it say it's not waterproof. That said, mine's outside, but under the overhang of the shed roof so protected from the rain. The PIR is good, only lights up when you get close to it so it doesn't keep randomly going off if you're in the garden. Has a setting so it only comes on at night which is ideal. Very cheap as well, worth the money and does the job!

Overall an appalling experience. If I could give less than a single star I would! Although initially the Amazon.com website was showing the product "in stock" when I ordered it the delivery date kept changing (so it obviously wasn't in stock). I have worked in retailing as a stock control manager and in my experience it is better to go cap in hand to the customer, admit you were wrong and offer their money back rather than alienate them by taking their money and then trying to organise delivery via a third party. So the vendor made me wait all that time for delivery (it arrived direct from China) and the actual product doesn't even work!! Shouldn't the vendor be checking first (on behalf of the consumer) to see if the product actually works before forwarding it onto the client instead of ordering it directly from China and getting the manufacturer to send to the client? When it arrived for example the "instructions" detailed all about how it could be a battery installation issue if the product doesn't work (really? Er....I grew up using battery operated products - I think I know how poorly installed batteries may affect performance) but nothing about how to actually use the product itself!! As a result I will not be ordering through this particular vendor again - unless of course it is accidental. I would have preferred the vendor to admit their mistake and refund me early so I could make another buying decision rather than make me wait. This is NOT the kind of customer experience I have come to expect from Amazon.com

What a great little item for the money nice and bright had to tone it down for the bathroom with some translucent coloured tape nice touch about this light is that the batteries are installed in the front so no problem when batteries need changing if its fixed to a surface. One little problem I found was the battery compartment with its spring contacts did not make a good electrical connection, the batteries appear to be too short as a result would not stay in position. I solved the problem by gently teasing out the almost flat short spring with a small thin terminal screwdriver gently does it! insert batteries after each stretching attempt until the batteries are held secure in their compartment. Another way is to insert a small pad of electrical conducting material ie cooking foil between the battery and the short spring connection I need to and shall be buying more of these they are good value and work well.

This light arrived promptly from outside the EU. It was well packaged and worked on arrival. I used the sticky pads provided to locate this in a wardrobe and at first the PIR worked fine, but on the evening of the first day, I noticed from our landing an eerie white glow coming from the bedroom and of course it was coming from the light. Sadly I could not have triggered it as I was some 10 yards away and half way down the stairs. I reset the lamp, to no avail and now use it via the manual option. I suppose that I could send it back, but to be honest, for the amount of times that we use it, I am quite happy to switch the lamp on when I need it. The quality of the light is good and more than enough to illuminate our wardrobe to a sufficient level and therefore it is satisfactory in that regard. Sad that the PIR doesn't work properly or that the instructions are less than useless, but that's what you often get when you purchase cheap items such as this. Best described as "not all that it said it would be, but it does a job of sorts".
