Good capacity battery that comes with the tools needed to swap over with your existing one. No compatibility issues and easy enough to install. Works just as intended and noticeable upgrade on an old degraded battery in terms of how long it can remain charged for.

The battery last so much longer than I remember when I first had a DSI.

Got this as the aging battery in my New 3DS XL was inflated after many charge cycles, and it was easy to replace. This battery lasts so much longer on one charge cycle, and allows for more hours of playing.Would recommend this as a cheaper alternative to taking your 3DS in to get the battery replaced.

Ds been in wardrobe for 10 years and battery gone completely dead. This was simple to replace even for a female pensioner like myself. Back in business again.

Thanks to Nintendo there must be slight variations in models so all I can advise is that if you want this battery, take the cover off your device first and just compare the pictures and part numbers before ordering.

The media could not be loaded.  I don't know if it works on the Switch Pro Controller like it says on the product page, if so that be interesting. I didn't get it for that though, ordered for a long lost relic forgotten 2012 when the 3DS XL came out I forgot all about the 3DS, and I let the handheld run the battery so dry, it's now been I think 11 years, suffice to say you have to charge these to full at least once every 6months to 1 year to keep the battery alive.Well this replaced the battery, wasn't hard just youtubed a video guide of taking out the back and just putting the new one in, unlike my samsung phones these days, which require a whole lot of work to replace the battery, the 3DS old model was a cakewalk to replace. So far so good with the battery, it is larger than the original which is 1300mah, I think when not in use though this new one might discharge just a tiny bit faster but could be my mind playing tricks on me.I took a star off because the packaging it comes in just a box that is easily crushed, I expected a small hard box that I could re-use and put a backup battery in it or something, with eva soft material on the inside for 16 quid, currently it was in box and could rattle it around. If something happens to this battery while in use I will update this review. So far so good though, breathes new life into an old relic.Fun fact: I checked images of switch pro controller and the battery is identical to this, so this also works on a switch pro controller, nice to know.
