It slices frozen foods, ignore reviews that complain about that
Works great if you use it right. Meats and foods need to be frozen to slice. It's really that simple. Cheap no frills solution for thin sliced meats. If you want a salami slicer, freeze your salami or look elsewhere. We use it all the time for Chinese hot pot at home. Super sharp so be careful. Fairly easy to clean as well.

Great for Hot Pot
This is an inexpensive meat slicer for those hot pot enthusiasts, like me. There's nothing worse about hot pot than paying $10-$20 for a plate of 10 slivers of thinly cut meat that adds up to $2 of actual meat. Instead, make your own hot pot at home and use this slicer!!The blade is strong when slicing frozen solid meat. Listen carefully to the instructions - it should be right out of the freezer. I also recommend keeping the meat frozen before serving, it can clump if it gets to room temperature, and freeze together if frozen after that. For things that accompany it, it comes with a pair of gloves, an extra blade, and attachable feet. Invest in some proper knife safety gloves, these one feel like child mittens. No big deal. The feet are easy to attach and have suction cups, but I do wish they were a little bit stronger. Perhaps 2 more would do the trick. Lastly, the meat clamp works very well, although very large pieces of meat like a large ribeye can be a little hard to guide. Still, I can manage a ~2LB ribeye with some limited difficulty and rearranging, and most importantly hands nowhere near the blade. The cleaning is easily taken care of - I recommend a brush so you can easily get in the crevices to get all the bits of meat. I let mine air dry in a dish rack and it's good to go for our next hot pot.All in all for the price this is a slam dunk, although it could use a few minor improvements and honestly shouldn't even come with such low quality mittens. Give it a shot - you'll make your money back in the first hot pot you make.

Disappointed with Hinge Issue
I recently purchased a meat slicer from Amazon and initially, I was quite pleased with its performance. However, after using it only three times, I encountered a significant issue that has left me disappointed and concerned. I feel it's essential to highlight this problem to potential buyers, as it may impact their decision-making process.First and foremost, the hinge of the meat slicer has proven to be a major cause for concern. Upon closer inspection, I noticed the presence of black powders emanating from the hinge area. This was not only unexpected but also quite unsettling. It's disheartening to witness such a flaw in a product that is meant to handle food preparation, where hygiene and safety are paramount. The black powders raise several questions about the quality and durability of this meat slicer. Is it a manufacturing defect? Could it be a sign of poor materials or improper assembly? Regardless of the root cause, it is simply unacceptable for a kitchen appliance to exhibit such issues, especially when it comes to potential food contamination risks. In addition to the hygienic concerns, the presence of black powders from the hinge also raises concerns about the long-term durability of the product. If the hinge is already showing signs of wear and tear after just a few uses, how can one trust that the meat slicer will continue to function reliably over time? As a consumer, I expect my purchases to last and perform as advertised, without compromising my health or safety.I must note that aside from this hinge issue, the meat slicer performed reasonably well during the limited usage I had with it. It delivered precise cuts and had a sturdy build overall. However, the presence of black powders from the hinge undermines any positive aspects of the product and casts doubt on its overall quality. While I understand that defects can occur in any product, the fact that this issue has manifested so early on and involves an area that comes into direct contact with food is concerning. I hope that the manufacturer takes immediate action to address this flaw and rectify it for future customers. In conclusion, I cannot recommend the meat slicer I purchased due to the disconcerting issue with black powders emerging from the hinge. As a consumer, it is vital to prioritize safety and hygiene when it comes to kitchen appliances, and this product fails to meet those expectations. I encourage potential buyers to explore alternative options until the manufacturer resolves this problem and ensures a more reliable and sanitary meat slicer for its customers.

Super sharp blade slices frozen meat easy!
Perfect for prepping Hot Pot Beef and Pork rolls! We love hot pot and can now slice our own lean meat rolls.Pros: Easy blade adjustment for meat thickness.Very easy to clean - soap and hot water, drip dry.So easy to use, Super sharp blade cuts frozen solid beef into thin rolls.Cons: Thickness adjust stop/blade guard is very thin and easy to bend.Bolts under base are not stainless, suction feet are bit too small and slip.As a Frozen Hot Pot meat slicer - I recommend this slicer, it works great!

Easy to handle
It makes preparing for home hot pot so easy, now we don’t have to buy spam meat rolls but instead just freeze our own choice of meat over night then easily slice them for hot pot, healthier and tastier

Great idea
Bought it for cutting beef jerky. Purchased 2.5kg top side. Froze for 6 hours. Was sharp and cut. But as you keep going, it cuts on a curved angle. Eventually you end up with a mess and a sharp knife corrects the issues. If you are a amature Just buy a good knife... Its quicker and results are closer to what you are hoping for

The quality is so poor that it is unusable
The seller cut corners to the extent that even the screws are made with the cheapest materials and processes, resulting in three out of four screws being unable to tighten when installing the base, one merely can be tightened, making the base unable to stand steadily. The surrounding materials are also very thin. The edges were not polished smoothly and can cut fingers. This is junk; I wouldn't want it even if it were given away for free.

Does not cut well
Slices first half well, then slides off the second half of the meat and leaves it dangling. Works better when I accidentally sliced my finger open.
