This is just bloody amazing simply put the thermometer in your meat on a barbecue and your phone will do the rest, to have such tender meat on a barbecue by using this thermometer is just something else fantastic buy.

This is a more economical meater look a like. Works great and seems to be accurate. Easy to set up and use. Easy to wash afterwards.

Probe T Wireless Meat Thermometer: This is a clever little gadget, it requires no wires or temp gauge and all syncs to your phone!The probe comes in a very nicely constructed wooden charging box, into which it clips firmly and can be stored in. A USB cord is provided for charging and status is indicated by a little red/green light.The first thing to do is to download the App onto your phone - quick and easy to do. The probe does need to have some charge on it before taking it out of the charger (which turns it on) to instigate and pair the probe - again easy and almost instantaneous. Once paired the display comes up showing the temp gauges and from that point all that’s required is to use it.It does feel a little odd to just be using an independent probe but it’s very liberating and saves trailing wires around. I’ve tested it against a wired meat thermometer and it does seem to coincide in temp, although if I’m honest would probably trust this against other probes. You can vary between Celsius and Fahrenheit etc and it is very nimble. It indicates that the probe can be submerged when washing but should not be placed directly into cold water while it’s still hot…I can’t fault the probe, it works quickly , it’s accurate and neat & tidy to store. My only question is do you need it badly enough to spend almost £50 on it? It’s clever but very expensive unless you frequently cook meat that requires very skilful temp checking and ensure that your phone is charged to do it. I love it but would draw the line at spending that sort of money on it, hence 4 stars.

This probe is a game changer on a BBQ. It can be left in the meat while cooking so you can see accurate readings of the temperature through your phone. It has a really good range and was reaching down the other end of the garden with no problem at all.Really good product, would recommend.
