Good product

This developer worked well with my usual lightening powder. The 20 volume is good for a minimal lightening with little to no damage to hair. This seemed to add a bit of shine to my hair more than my usual developer. Was easy to mix in, and stayed a good consistency throughout use. I think it's nice that it's technically "travel" sizing so you could pack it if you intend to go on a trip out of the country for an extended time and want to make sure you'll be able to have your own products in case they are hard to source where you go. However - on a regular basis - or 2oz of developer, compared to my normal bottle I think it's a bit pricey which is why I wasn't able to give it a full 5 stars.

20 volume developer. Added to my regular lightened and it worked well. Mixed easily and didn't dry out.

It is creamy, mixes really well, and easy to apply. Stays a good texture and doesn't dry out so fast when mixed with lightener. I find it to work better when mixing with colors.

In case there is any confusion, this is developer only, it will NOT dye your hair by itself. i blended it with the Better Natured 5N brown shade purchased separately. It worked just great for me with the 35 minutes recommended processing time. I have posted here 1 before picture, and 2 afters.It covered my grays, and my hair is soft afterward. It does not smell as bad as some dyes i have used.If you have dyed your hair at home before, and you like the bottle-style applicator where you add the two parts together and then shake it up and squirt it on your hair, that is not included here. I mixed it in a bowl and then you can paint it on.

An excellent choice for setting. I like how naturally it sets for great looks. Smooth and cool, it applies nicely.

I really don’t color my hair very often. It’s not because I don’t have grays. I do. But since I am trying to save money, I color at home. And, coloring with a box color is a waste. To cover a few gray areas, I usually need to buy a whole box of color.Instead, this makes coloring my grays so convenient. Now, I have my color in a small bottle and this developer in a small bottle too. So, for the 1 to 1 combination, I can use as much or as little as I like! I no longer feel like I’m wasting coloring.

I think this product worked well but my hair feels very dry now and kind of brittle.
