Pretty Impressed
The media could not be loaded. I really like this plant habitat. It was a little smaller than expected but still looks really good. I do wish there was an easier way to see how much water is in there. Minor details that can be overlooked as long as my plants don’t die and it does what it’s supposed to do. It’s not heavy but also not light once the plants are added so I put it on a stud. I’ll see how this one goes and if all is well, I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase a few more.

Nice
I order the wood frame planter for indoors. It’s nice and stable. I did put natural plants and hang it next to the window for some light.

Great wall planter for crafters
I was trying to figure out a way to hang my staghorn fern in my kitchen. This type of fern does well with a good soak of water when it gets dry, and they like to have water sprayed on them. People often hang them on a board, roots wrapped in moss. I did not like the idea of hanging a semi-soaked plant directly on my drywall or leaving it down until it dried. Over time it would leave stains and destroy the wall. With these planters' removable cups, I think found my solution. I can take them out, soak or spray my plants and return them to the unit.Once removed from the frame, there are two separatable potting units. Each unit has two hexagon shaped openings with two removable cups. These cups --that fit a 4-inch pot--have holes and a string that hangs into a shared water reservoir. This allows for the self-watering feature. In the reservoir there are two raised pipes that drain out of the bottom. This way you can water the top unit, and the overflow will fill the lower unit until both are full, then the excess water can drain from the bottom. A really great design if you ask me. They provided 4 rubber corks. I put the corks on the inside, top of the pipes. The wood frame holding the two pot units is easily stainable, but also looks great in its natural color. Both potting units fit perfectly and are held by little metal frame brackets. It is a strong and sturdy frame. As I mentioned, the units can be separated. Currently, I have only one plant I wanted in the kitchen. I have to do some research before filling the other 3 openings that fit a 4-inch plant. Some plants love to sit in water, others like my staghorn fern like to dry out completely. They also have different sunlight needs. It would be terrible to have one plant go bad and ruin the others.I separated one pot unit, glued coconut husk fiber and craft store moss. I placed the staghorn fern into one of the openings and hung one unit on the wall. Once I figure out and find the right plants I will put the whole unit onto my wall. As it is, I think it looks great. If I can find another 4-inch staghorn fern I may just drop it in or I may fill the second open space with some form of decoration to match the holidays.I would recommend this wall planter. As mentioned, the only trouble is choosing the right plants.

5 stars for now
I am a plant lover. I love many different plants whether houseplants or ornamental plants outside.I have 100ish houseplants that are all currently on my deck for the summer, under the gazebo enjoying the humidity, heat & sunshine. They will eventually need to come in and that's when the fun begins. Trying to find places for all 100 plants is going to be a nightmare, especially since I want a majority in the living room so I can enjoy them rather than being stuck in a bedroom where I can't.One thing I've wanted was a live wall but on a smaller, easier managed scale. This vertical wall planter is perfect.I can fill the reservoirs with water and the rope inside does the rest.I'm not sure what plants I will putting in here but I'm thinking trailing plants in the 2 bottom planters and something small & short in the top 2.I also don't know what kind of substrate I'll be using. Soil, Pon or Leca. Before I decide, I will be doing my research.I really like the color of the wood. Although I'm not sure if the wood is strong enough to hold the weight of this planter, especially after plants and water have been added, it's still nice wood. It's lightweight but the color is nice. I may have to get the hubs to make a new frame for me. I'm just afraid it can't handle too much weight but I'll have him make that determination.I appreciate the color of the plastic within. It's heavy plastic in a dark green color so once plants start growing, it will blend in nicely.Like others have said, there's no way to know how much water is in the reservoir. That's important. Too much water and you risk overflow or root rot. Not enough risks the plants dying off. If it had an easy way to check the reservoir, I think that would be attractive to buyers.Maybe a clear window on the side to show the water level? Obviously there would need to be a hole in the wood and then a clear window in the plastic but it's better than guessing in the dark. Just saying. All in all, I like this planter & I can't wait to get it set up.I will update with pics as soon as I have it up and filled.

Perfect for small spaces - tiny cabin!
This self watering wall planter is for a 200 square foot tiny cabin that we’re in the home stretch of completing. In this small space, I’m constantly looking for new and creative ways to maximize every inch of space. I have this wall planter on a section of wall that’s in dead space, so it’s absolutely perfect. No way to accidentally bump into it or nock it down. I was so excited to find this as I had basically ruled out being able to have plants due to the space limitations - this wall planter is just perfect!

Poorly constructed. Outside use only
Item is pretty, the wooden facade is poorly built and I had to glue mine together. This is what the unit hangs from the wall on and should be far more well constructed to accommodate the several pounds it will weigh with plants and water. Also be aware that the self watering feature has a drain that prevents over filling by dumping it straight out the bottom and will run down your wall if over filled!!

Beautiful Vertical wall planter
This quoaot vertical wall planter is fun to plant with. I was a bit surprise of the different wells sizes to plant different angles. Overall, this is highly recommended from me to anyone who looks for a hobby for planting wall plants.
