Slug and Snail Trap

I have only caught two slugs so far, its costing me a fortune in beer!!! Meanwhile my plants continue to be eaten by slugs. We have reverted to the old fashioned method......hunting for them with a torch late at night!!!

Wish that it were flat so that it could be just laid on the ground instead of having to dig a hole for it.

Quite expensive for what it is and a bit too large for me, but does the job and well made.

Product was easy to place in soil and fill with beer that a supermarket sells for 69p. Haven't caught a slug yet so being patient.

Does not work, I have not caught a single slug.

These are great and very effective, I have been using them for years and wouldn't use anything else - I don't and won't use slug pellets as they are harmful to birds and animals including hedgehogs. I use the cheapest cans of bitter (4 for £1.00) and am always surprised at how many slugs and smaller snails are in them each time I empty them (the larger snails can't get in so well). These are more robust that some other makes that are on sale - I am very pleased with my purchase.

I have tried a number of slug traps as I have a large slug infested garden. These are by far the most effective.
