Take up the challenge for a peaceful battle between African Tribal figures on the playing field. Intricately carved from wood, black Tribal warriors vie with those in natural wood on a dark leather playing board. Crafted by Master craftsmen in the Artisans Village, Dakar, Senegal. A heavy wooden box with a tooled leather covering has two drawers to hold the playing pieces. these are large pieces with the tallest pieces at 15 cm / 6" with Pawns at 9 cm / 3.5". The Leather Box is 41 x 41 cm / 16 x 16" and 8 cm / 3" tall with two full length leather drawers. The leather playing board on top of the box is 36 cm / 14" including the riased decoration. The complete set makes for a really special playing experience and looks fantastic on display. The complete set weighs approx 5kg. We include a card detailing its heritage.
