So Much More than a Reference Book!
When I picked up this book, I expected to learn about how herbs are used in Korean medicine. But, of course, the author's book is as holistic as her approach to healing. So not only do you learn about herbs used in Korean medicine, but also you learn the underlying philosophies, some personal history, you read poems, you view art, and you even get recipes! I can't wait to make the Chesnut Gingko Porridge this winter. I'm so glad I purchased this book. It is one I will keep going back to!

Lots of information
The first thing I noticed with this book is that it is full of information. Some of the information I read was interesting to read. It feels like a step back into the way my grandmother would talk about using different things for healing properties. Some items in this book looked hard to find to purchase. There are recipes in this book but not sure how well they work. I do enjoy herbal teas when I’m sick feeling so some recipes might be worth a try.
