Nice timer - haven’t measured if it’s dead on accurate but I know it’s approximately 2/3/5 minutes and that’s good enough. One or two of the sand timer can get stuck but overall it happens less than 10% of the time in my experience.

My friend and I went for afternoon tea in London and the hotel used this gadget ! We both loved it so I ordered one for her birthday the next week.. she is now impressing everyone that has tea with her at home - she also ordered one later for her sister,If your fussy about how long you like your tea to brew for - this is the item for you !!

Generally a good product, but I wouldn't absolutely trust its accuracy. Individual 2, 3 & 5 minute timers all vary during each cycle of use, by around 20-30 seconds (e.g. 5:00 minute timer glass can be anywhere between 4:30 and 5:30). I'm no expert, but I believe this might be due to sand grain particles being inconsistent grades (?), thus speeding up and slow down whilst flowing through glass necks. Having said that, it's more than adequate for boiling eggs and making teas!

Nothing much to write except it does what it says on the tin! I use this for timing myself when making tea with loose leaves which is perfect and has served me well every time. It's sturdy with accurate sand timers but possibly a little bit too pricey but I was after something that had good reviews.

Use this every time to make a nicely brewed cup of tea - I like the fact it has multiple timers to suit different teas.

Looks good in the kitchen and like the various options of timer that you choose.

I ordered 3 items and one was scratched and already used. Not serious !

Gut verarbeitet aus schönem Metall und Glas. Zeitmessung ergab nur minimale Abweichungen von wenigen Sekunden +/-. Alles in allem tolles Produkt.

I was looking for something to time my tea and this hour glass is perfect. the timing seems about right, the sand does not get stuck. i like the colors and now i can make my tea without having to watch the clock. I liked this so much that i bought two others for presents. highly recommend this.

Los reyes me trajeron este tea timer. A la semana, el reloj de 5 minutos ya se encallaba y a fecha de hoy, dos semanas despues, tambien se encalla el de 3 minutos. Sin problemas me puse en contacto con el proveedor y al dia siguiente me envió uno nuevo. 5 estrellas para Bredemeijer. El problema es que ... al dia siguiente, o sea ayer ... ya se encallaba el de 5 minutos. Supongo que debe ser un error de fabricacion. A ver, le das un golpecito o dos , si es que estas delante del relojero y continua bajando la arena. Pero yo lo queria para no estar delante mirando si baja o no.Espero que al menos el de 2 minutos no se me estropee .. sino... 16€ a la basura
