O Brother Where Art Thou?

Not watched it as yet but having seen it before it's a good film,also your driver said package was put throufh my letter box, but took photogragh showing he left it down stairs ????why put in wrong info.

This is an amazing film in every respect, in fact it's one of my favourite film of all time. Loosely based on Homer's Oddessy epic it tells the the story of three escaped convicts trying to find some buried treasure during the depression.For me it's probably the perfect film. The story is brilliant with plenty of humour. The soundtrack is sublime, worth owning in it's own right. It's almost a musical and a great one, with every song a pleasure.The acting is spot on and adds a lot to the humour of the film. It helps that the film is populated with some wonderful characters like the cyclops and the sirens.Quite simply an awesome film.

Very fun and adventurous film about three escaped convicts in the state of Mississippi who ended up in a Country and Western group through all kinds of adventures. They were hunted down, but through a Baptist group and a Ku Klux Klan meeting where they managed to save a Negro musician from death. Have enjoyed!

It's hard to think of anything wrong with this comedy, said to be based on The Odyssey - brilliant script, cracking cast, fantastic music, chock full of quirkiness in an imagined (rather than realistic) depression-era Deep South. For me, sometimes the Coen brothers stuff has too casual an attitude to violence, but not here (well, there is a little violence and quite a lot of jeopardy, but I can live with that). Really I concur with most other reviewers. An outstanding film.

Apparently based on ' The Odyssey ' . Tune in to the accents and you're on a winner . The three main characters are very funny , but they are not the only ones . Clooney in particular was so good , especially in the amazing musical performance which gained the trio their pardon !

One of the Coen brothers best movies I don't usually buy DVDs but this movie is a classic to watch again and again

Avevo sempre messo nelle "cose da fare", quella di vedere questo film. Alla fine prendendo il BR in offerta e guardandolo, mi son chiesto perché avessi atteso tanto. Film bellissimo con una fotografia e dei colori stupendi così come le sue musiche che furono un caso anomalo per via del fatto che il CD audio ebbe un grandissimo e assolutamente inaspettato successo.

The DVD arrived well packaged, in good condition and in a good time frame.Who doesn't love a good Coen Brothers comedy from the deep south filmed in old timey Sepia with brilliant actors and a fantastic soundtrack?
