Functional. And I’ve used much worse that cost more than these.

It does not do what it states, does not take the cable it says it can take.... AWG23 does not work. Doesn't pass through the 'pass-through' connector!

I will initially state that I purchased a "Like new" discounted product so my review is based on the item I received. Overall the Cable Matters RJ45 plugs are decent quality, they are conveniently packaged in a tub with a handle that helps with storage. Whilst I didn't crimp any before returning due to counting the connectors and discovering 17 missing, the connectors themselves seemed great, the Cat6A cable I had at hand was able to passthrough easily and the retaining latches didn't seem brittle. I give this product 3 stars because whilst the RJ45 connectors did seem like they would be adequate, the tub I received only contained around 80 connectors and as such was returned.

Not suitable for 23AWG. Cat6a. It's such a tight fit, You can waste so much time on bodging it but... Save yourself the trouble and don't buy.

I am unable to trust these items. They just don't work consistently and far too many issues. Push through clips allow you to see the order of the wires as you push them through the clip. You can see that they are in the correct order before crimping them down but even after checking, double checking there are too many issues and so on a recent installation using CAT6a cable I had to resort to using data modules with pre-made patch leads and only then could I get most of the connections to work...and for anyone wanting to know, I have been doing this for 25 years and these are the first lot of rj45 clips I can't trust at all.

Disappointing from Cable Matters. Like many have said, it is near impossible to feed cables through the plug without a boot loader. Also, the internal opening in the head is not as wide as others which makes the process even more difficult without a loader.

23AWG cable (Cat 6A Xelan) does not fit through the plugs, 24AWG thin cable barely fits

My colleagues were using the cat6A RJ45 Connectors and found that it is not working. We had to try many attempts before only a few will work. Please check on the quality of the RJ45 as we cannot use even a single piece now as we are concerned about the quality.

Super faciles à utiliser comparé aux anciens connecteurs qui nécessitaient de couper tous les brins à une longueur spécifique et ensuite les aligner correctement au travers de celui-ci. Avec ces connecteurs 'Pass-through' il suffit de retirer l'isolation externe du câble, généralement je retire entre 3 et 4 cm, et ensuite à peu près arranger les brins et les enficher au travers du connecteur. Vu qu'ils traversent celui-ci, on peut vérifier aisément qu'ils soient bien arrangés avant de sertir le câble pour de bon. Petite astuce, je coupe les brins avec un certain angle, cela me permets de les enfiler plus aisément dans le connecteur. Le seul point un peu négatif, ces connecteurs nécessitent une pince à sertir spécifique, mais celle-ci ne coûtant que 20-30€, le prix à payer vaut largement le temps gagné. Je suis déjà presque à la fin de ma première boite, j'en re commanderai sans hésiter !

I bought a reel of Cable Masters Cat6a cable to wire a home network with multiple purposes. I needed to terminate the cable and pulled a box of Cat6a RJ45 connectors from my tool bag and tried to terminate the cables. The wires were pic coated 23 AWG, too thick to pass thru these generic connectors. I wanted to match my shielded cable to the correct RJ45 connectors and searched for Cable Matters connectors. Their specs said they were a match for the cable. I ordered them for next day delivery and they worked perfectly. Every termination and patch cable I made tested perfect with my Link Master cable tester. I now have the best Internet delivery to the 2 TV/ Entertainment areas, my office and my wife's shop/ design room. We're making the most of our 2GB fiber service with Cable Matters Cat6a cable and connectors.
