Our greyhound needs a large dog door so for the longest time we were just using a cut out of the screen on the porch door for her to go in and out.As expected, a wide opening to outside meant all kinds of bugs and critters got onto the enclosed porch, especially mosquitoes.It became impossible to sit on the porch and enjoy it when we were being bitten like crazy.So we bought these flaps, cut off the remainder of the screen, drilled the flaps into the metal door and tada! a dog door that lets my dog in and out but also keeps out the pests.They're weighty and thick but easy to cut into strips.These babies lay side by side and overlap to create an impenetrable shield against the outside.We haven't been bitten up since and it's easy for my dog to use.The blue color is lovely as well so it's not an eyesore. Wish we did this a lot sooner.

We bought this to cover the opening to our tortoises outside box. Does keep heat in so far. It is easy for him to come and from the box. I can see through the covering to see when he goes in his box. Good value for price

Puppies like the clear to see in/out first. It works great for them! Cut in opposing strips, 2 layers. They like it better than the solid weather tight swinging door we had.

The plastic is thick and it would have been perfect but there was nothing to stick to the dog house.

The material is very nice I bought it for my dogs dog house door to keep his air conditioning in its very hot where we live I have had this material setting in the sun now for 5 days it still smells I can’t recommend this product sorry
