Immediately after receiving this kit of battery cable lug ends and heatshrink tubing we put it to work. The Terminals are a bit lighter duty than most others i have used but got the jobs done easily in each case. The main thing to realize is this kit has definitely been designed for using the least amount of metal as possible to produce each terminal. The previous lugs I used required a hydraulic crimper to set the terminals, but this set of cable ends can be installed with a pair of pliers as the lugs are thin enough to crimp by hand. The included heat shrink in the kit is also a budget material and likes to be shrunk with a heat gun instead of open butane or cigarette lighters. The clamshell case keeps everything tidy in my tool bag and that's great because we are doing a ton of in home visits, and the last thing i want is to chase down random parts in the van. All my repairs have been successful with these thin lugs so we will see if they hold up.

Poor quality crimps and miserable shrink tubing. I would skip this if you want a quality outcome.
