C15 Insulated Protective Cover Insulated Transit Bag for Alpicool C15/Y16T Car Fridge Freezer

I took a trip and didn't even have to plug the fridge in to the power station until 5 days. The 2 quart frozen water bottle inside two thermal totes and dropped in fridge.... using the fridge cover.... kept everything cool and saved a lot of battery power.

Love that it fits so well and will help insulate. Hope to reduce watts needed to run a/c unit with a portable power station.

I haven’t long term tested the insulation results but it’s well fitted and very practical.My issue is No Strap to carry. There are metal loops for a strap but nothing in the package. Surprised considering the price. A little disappointed

Four years ago I purchased the C15 for a spare refrigerator for a sailboat. It has run half of the time on a lithium 12 200ah battery bank and half the time plugged into shore power and has never had a problem running 6 days in 90-100 degree ambient temp with the cooling temperature set at 40 degrees.

When I ordered this, I didn't notice that necessary carrying straps weren't pictured. When it arrived without the straps, I now know the cover is a pain to use. Other covers do in fact include the carrying straps, so I don't recommend this particular cover. Sorry.

The Carry Handles are exposed for carrying the Refrigerator. Great idea! I like it.

Seems to have helped the energy usage, but will have to test longer. Quality is decent, but price is a bit high for what it does.

This was really expensive for what it is...

I fitted this to my fridge unit and it’s very well-made and fits perfectly. It has helped reduce the runtime of the fridge but the main reason for buying it for me was to reduce the noise of the fluids circulating when the fridge was on. This has made it quieter.
