This thing saved me on my Elk hunt last weekend. My new rifle was back-ordered so I had to take my super heavy long range rifle out on the hunt. My rifle weighs about 16 lb but it never fell of my shoulder once using the Sling Saddle as I hiked all over the place. If you are wondering if it can handle a heavy gun, don't be because I'm sure I pushed it to the limit and it worked awesome. My son was jealous of how easy it was for me to hike up and down the hillside so I had to order another one for him when we got home.

This product was an epic failure on a recent elk hunt. Clip does not stay on the shoulder strap of the backpack and the belt retainer won't work on a belt if wearing a backpack. I put it on the belt strap of the backpack belt, which made it easier to hook the bottom of the sling, but the spring is too weak to hold the sling and gun in place. Will be returning the product.

I just completed the most grueling sheep hunt I’ve ever done and the Sling Saddle was awesome. I never had to worry about my rifle falling off while climbing through cliffs or while trying to cross extremely steep country. It kept my hands free to balance myself, hang on to stuff, or to use my hiking poles.Thanks again for an awesome product!!!

The rifle sling hook was a great addition to my hunting gear for both using when hiking but just as important while riding a horse. Keeps the gun secure and very accessible, and stays in place while mounting and riding the horse. Superior product, simple and a great answer on horses when using guns with big long range scopes that don't fit well in a scabbard

This thing works amazing! I did Jumping Jacks and my gun stayed on my shoulder. I totally recommend doing the combo. The Shoulder Clip works awesome, but with the Pouch and clip on my waist I felt 100% Secure.

Fell apart FIRST DAY of use!

The Sling Saddle is a great set up I leave mine on my backpack all the time works great for holding your water bladder hose in place and is a great way to keep your guns sling right where it should be. Never have an issue of the clip moving or falling off. Must have for any hikers.

Love this thing. I won’t go on a muzzleloader or rifle hunt without it!!!
