White Lion [DVD]

A really good 90 min REGION B/2 DVD that is ideal for the whole family but parents must be aware there are some scenes that may upset younger children. Highly recommend, will not disappoint

Firstly this film is very emotional like any wildlife story but it's amazing. The care taken is clear to see in every shot and is simply stunning from start to end. I am a big supporter of the work Kevin Richardson does over in SA and I wish I could support his work and education of others more but for now buying this film will have to do.If your love your big cats then i strongly recommend this film although buy some tissues as they capture every sad/happy/feel good scene perfectly. simply brilliant.

The adult white lion in this movie was named Thor. Check out his story on YouTube. Thor was a very special lion. He was hand raised from a pup by Kevin Richardson, "The Lion Whisperer", also on YouTube, and Thor and Kevin had an unbreakable bond. Kevin produced this movie to call attention to the plight of lions in Africa. There he has a sanctuary where he cares for over 30 lions, and this movie helps pay for all that.

Love watching this film, great story also helps to protect the lion species.

Nice photography of the landscapes and animals. No subtitles so couldn’t follow the narration. Live version of The Lion King.

This albeit only about one hour was really good about the first 2 female white lions to survive in the wild.I enjoyed this it is worth a watch if you love to see animals in the wild
