JULIUS-K9 IDC Powerharness, S, no pull dog harness, Blue

So easy to put on. I used to struggle daily with my shihtzu to get him to put on his harness - this one step over the head is a dream - quick and means we get out the door a lot quicker! The first time I adjusted it around his body and now I just clip in. The lead attaches to the top easily and not fiddly as it sits on top - as opposed to some other type of harnesses where you have to pull through to attach lead. It covers his body and allows him the freedom to move around easily. It also has a fixed strap over the top - I usually use this to lift him in and out of the car. Very pleased with this - the rave is real!

By far the best harness I've bought. Is 100% worth the money. My frug can walk comfortably with no restrictions around his neck area now!

Very good fit for my sheltie. The down side is the strap that goes around the front has velcro to hold it. Being a long haired breed his hair sticks to the velcro so it pulls out some fur each time you remove it. Previous harness was fitted together with a clip.

I’ve had a few K9 harnesses over the years for my Staffies and have always been pleased with them. This one was no exception but it was for our dachshund. He’s such a wriggler when he’s getting “dressed” for going out so the longer harnesses with many buckles/clips were always a pain! I kept saying we must get a better harness and decided on this one. Once we’d sorted out his measurements for his chest, it was a piece of cake to get him ready for going out! One clip to fasten and he's sorted. It looks good too, and adds to his air of confidence (like he needed it!).

Had one of these for my first dog and now for our rescue as well. Good quality, it was a bit big for my dog should have got an xs for my cockapoo

Easy to put on your dog, sturdy and well made. Value for money. Large ring means you can easily have the lead on and secure your dog in the car with a restraining lead too.

Fits my 26lb Frenchie perfectly. I have had trouble finding a harness that is easy to put on and fit properly, till now! My Frenchie seems to like this one too!

I love this harness for my 20 lb dog. He likes to pull, which is lessened by this harness. The quality is good and sturdy. He seems very comfortable with the fit. The Logo velcro strips have a tremendous reflective ability once subject to light. The vest was easy to adjust having front and chest adjustable straps. I am really pleased with this Julius K9 harness, after having gone through three others that wouldn't fit properly. One thing to add though. Though the fastening clip seems to be quite sturdy, I can see a potential problem with the clip due to the angle it sits at, at least on my dog. When removing the harness, that the angle of the clip causes some pressure on the top peg within the clip. That pressure with repeated use, will most likely weaken and potentially break that peg. If your dog requires a snug fit, beware when removing the harness. If you find any resistance in unlocking the clip, it is most likely due to this. I have been pulling the harness to that side to give me as much slack as possible to be able to release the clip with as little tension on it as possible. However, with the size and shape of your dogs body, you may never encounter the problem. And Julius has a number of different styles worth checking out. I still give this a 5 star rating.

I bought these for my two male Shiba Inu, they both weigh around 22 lbs so I bought the Small/Mini. They also have the Ruff Wear Front Range, which is a wonderful harness too, but they really don't like how it fits so closely over their heads. They always duck and weave when I have to put it on them. I introduced them to the Julius K9 IDC harness and WOW! What a game changer! Now they sit patiently smiling and let me slip this harness on. It is so fast and easy I am just shocked and happy how easy it is to put on and off. And it looks super cute on them too! I also tried the Joy Ride Harness on them and they hated it. It is not comfortable at all. The straps are scratchy and the belly buckle is huge and rubs them directly on the back of their front legs! Joy Ride harnesses come in a lot more pretty colors but the quality of their product is awful! I returned the Joy Ride Harnesses. I really wish Julius K9 harnesses came in as many colors as the Joy Ride does. That said, I highly recommend the Julius K9 harness if you have a Shiba Inu. Another great harness that my male Shiba Inu love is the Comfort Flex Harness. They sit patiently smiling when I put the Comfort Flex Harness on them too! I also have a female Shiba Inu and she is a classic escape artist and I keep her in the Ruff Wear Front Range.
