Julius-K9, 16IDC-B-M, IDC Powerharness, dog harness, Size: S/Mini, Blue

Bought for my little bodegeuro, doesn't cause him any discomfort and fits perfectly. Looks the part and so easy to put on considering he doesn't sit still when it's time for walkies. Was a bit skeptical about the plastic lead hoop but it's more than sturdy enough for him or any other similar sized or smaller dog.

A very easy to put on harness even the dog is happy to have it put on unlike his last one … had to chase after him to get him in 🤣 very strong and well made deffo worth the cost should last a long time :)

My terrier doesn't like having a harness put on. This Julius-K9 harness is great - slip it over the head, one buckle and you're done! It looks good, fits really well and looks extremely comfortable for the dog. It is also lightweight - much more so than I was expecting - but sturdy. I can also easily fit my Pawfit tracker as well to the lifting strap - this was a key requirement for me. Highly recommended

I like the harness but it is a bit stiff in the body of it. A little too big for my puppy but she will grow into it. She was between the sizes, so bought the larger.

These harnesses fit perfectly. Size guide is quite accurate and the fit of the harness is in the exact right place. My dog seems quite comfortable in this harness.The customisation options for the patches are endless. The metal loop on the back is a good size for attaching accessories like a light and name tag, while also having lots of room left to clip on a lead.The neon colour is very bright and adds great visibility. The default patch that comes with the harness actually does glow in the dark, although the other custom ones don’t. All of the patches are very reflective.The other reflective elements all over the harness give great visibility for cars etc etc.This probably sounds like a sponsored review, but it’s not. The harness is just that good.Overall the harness is made very well. The materials are very premium.It can get a bit dirty over time, but it will still be very reflective and the fluro colour is still bright.It may be a little more expensive than other options and roughly €30-40 for a harness for a small dog may seem a bit overkill, but again it’s definitely worth it.Update: so originally when I wrote this review I got the Mini-Mini size for my Pomeranian. He’s mixed with something else so he’s a bit bigger than a normal one. As far as I can remember his chest measurement is currently 49cm and he weighs 7.5kg.This Mini-Mini size was bordering being too small so I decided to order a size Mini in the same Neon Green/Yellow. According to the size guide he was more or less in between the 2 sizes, but with free returns, there was nothing to lose by trying it.Turns out that the Mini size is more or less perfect for him. It is much bigger all round, but it fits him great a little bit out from its tightest setting. The back piece looks more in proportion than the old Mini-Mini. The Velcro strap that goes around the neck/shoulder is still a little bit looser than I’d like on its tightest setting, but that’s fine - it won’t affect the use of the harness.If you’re in between sizes I would obviously recommend buying both and returning the one you don’t want. Of course that’s more expensive up front so I would also say not to be afraid to order the larger size as they can fit a little bit smaller than the size guide.This is my dog’s fourth JK9 since he was born ~3 years ago as he has gone from Baby 1 to Baby 2 to Mini-Mini to Mini. They’re clearly not the cheapest options, but in my opinion they’re definitely worth the money. I’d recommend cutting another corner, rather than the harness if at all possible. These ones are absolutely fantastic.

Brilliant harness- easy to clean - safe and very well made

never have liked harnesses much because they are too difficult for a simpleton like me. This one is easy on easy off. size chart seems accurate but I had to google some of the dogs on there as sheltie and collie were not listed. Fits my dogs well and I like that it has a handle on it

Mini is te groot voor mijn honden (vanaf 7 kg) , ze kunnen er zo uit kruipen. Dus ik bestelde nog een maatje kleiner, tot 7 kg. Mijn honden wegen 7,2 kg en 7,3 kg en vallen er precies juist tussen. De test was gisteren met de XXS, en nog konden ze eruit kruipen. Ik spande alles goed aan, maar als ze achteruit lopen, dan geraken ze er toch uit. Met of zonder Y stuk tussen hun poten.Het harnas moest een stuk langer zijn, dus van hun nek over de rug, naar hun poep toe, dan zouden ze misschien niet kunnen ontsnappen.Mijn kleinere hond heeft een ander merk, niet van Amazon, en die past er perfect in en ontsnapt nooit. Maar het systeem is anders, er is tenminste een buikstuk aan en een rugstuk en dat zorgt voor het grote verschil.Ik had meer verwacht van zo'n bekend merk.Spijtig maar meer sterren kan ik het niet geven. Buikstuk ontbreekt, enkel een riempje.

I love this harness for my 20 lb dog. He likes to pull, which is lessened by this harness. The quality is good and sturdy. He seems very comfortable with the fit. The Logo velcro strips have a tremendous reflective ability once subject to light. The vest was easy to adjust having front and chest adjustable straps. I am really pleased with this Julius K9 harness, after having gone through three others that wouldn't fit properly.One thing to add though. Though the fastening clip seems to be quite sturdy, I can see a potential problem with the clip due to the angle it sits at, at least on my dog. When removing the harness, that the angle of the clip causes some pressure on the top peg within the clip. That pressure with repeated use, will most likely weaken and potentially break that peg. If your dog requires a snug fit, beware when removing the harness. If you find any resistance in unlocking the clip, it is most likely due to this. I have been pulling the harness to that side to give me as much slack as possible to be able to release the clip with as little tension on it as possible. However, with the size and shape of your dogs body, you may never encounter the problem. And Julius has a number of different styles worth checking out. I still give this a 5 star rating.

This is by far the best dog harness I have used on my dog (K9 IDC). I also own a Kurgo.This is much easier to put on an off my hyper puppy.I especially like the idea of only have the one chest buckle which makes it incredible easy to use.Another great feature is that the leash attachment is far back on my dog and does not cause anyneck strain.The design of the front neck strap rest much farther down on the neck more in the chest area which alsoprevents choking and my dog prefers this over the Kurgo which is a good collar too but this one is better.My only recommendation is buy a size smaller with a range starting below your dogs neck size up to a littler larger that was my case.Either way this is not a cheap harness but worth every penny if you do not want to be disappointed.Only caveat is make sure it is the K9 IDC model which sits lower in front and farther in back.
