A perfect book for a Boeing 747 fan like myself
i thought this book is fantastic so good infact that i ordered a second copy to send on to a new British cargo airline called Cargologicair who recently sarted operations with 747 aircraft.

Excellent history of the 747 with Flying Tigers
Very thorough history of the 747 with FTL plus lots of personal stories from former employees. If you're a fan of the Flying Tigers, the 747, and air cargo, this book will not disappoint.

Excellent Book, Awful Quality
The book is an excellent reference on the 747, with very nice pictures and narrative on the 747s flown by Flying Tigers. Why the poor rating? It is a "print on demand" book which is nowhere in the description. The quality of the color pictures and the paper used is poor, which doesn't justify the price. You are left with the impression the book was printed about 40 years ago in a 2nd rate shop. If you are an avid reader, the book will not last long in your library.
