Will not stick for me!
Now I am reviewing the Blue custom made Lokbuild Build surface with white grid lines (305mm x 305mm). Since putting on the build surface to a mirror surface which is very easy to do and is easily cut and formed no bubbles underneath my print builds have reduced from 100% on masking tape to around 10%. The problem for me or my printer is it will not stick to the surface either with or without heat (only tried PLA).I have followed the makers instructions as follows:NOZZLE HEIGHT CALIBRATIONLokBuild is much more forgiving than some other products when setting the nozzle height and does not require such a high level of accuracy. However there will be an optimal nozzle height for your chosen material and printer. The key to a good nozzle height is to experiment. We recommmend starting further away from the bed than with other surfaces and then reduce the nozzle height slightly until the print sticks to LokBuild. The vast number of printers and materials makes it impossible to give exact print parameters but a good starting point for the nozzle height would be between 0.20mm - 0.25mm.TIP: When setting the nozzle height start further away from the bed than with other surfaces such as tapes. LokBuild works better without squashing the filament too much on the first layer. The supplier has been very helpful with information:In terms with the issue with your print not sticking, correct set up, bed height is critical.I have had to give this 2 stars for now, as I have fiddled with the settings for hours up/down with the extruder only getting one small 25mm diameter piece to print, when trying to print a heat bed wire support cover to print it pulls off at around 2mm in height, even on a raft and this was having to have some heat on the bed. I just cannot find the sweet spot to lay down a good first layer to hold it on. Having spent hours on this and then reverting back to masking tape to find it printed straight away at whatever setting was the last straw so have removed it and will try again when I have the time to try and get it to work. However I was sold on the product by the following comment from the manufacturer: LokBuild is much more forgiving than some other products when setting the nozzle height and does not require such a high level of accuracy. So its either me or the printer it doesn't like...lol! Will update in the future if I get it to work.

Works well, but don't last long.
Once your printer is set-up correctly, this LokBuild does indeed work well. Alas, the surface does not last. Assuming your have no bed collisions (which you should not if your printer is set-up correctly) the surface lasts for about forty prints or so. So far I've gone through four of these surfaces in under three months. Moving the print location for each model will help improve life (manual wear levelling), but if you print larger items, the surface will fade fast. At almost £30 for a single 305x205 sheet, it's way too expensive for heavy use. The sad thing is this is actually aimed at more professional users, for whom the high cost and low durability is unattractive.I switched to another surface medium (nothing like LokBuild), which I won't discuss here in case the reader thinks I'm trolling or trying to promote something at the expense of LokBuild.
