Cat Litter Box Enclosure Furniture, Wooden Litter Tray Cover, Sturdy Washroom Storage Bench, Indoor Cat House Weathered Grey

Let me start by saying we purchased this product 2 years ago. We needed something to keep the cats x large litter tray (the one from pets at home with the hood) neatly away where my toddler daughter wouldn’t be able to get to it but equally where it wouldn’t look ugly and out of place in our living area. We live in a small house, so space was a big factor. I remember the item came quickly, although expensive we could actually afford it (we couldn’t find anything else that was suitable, which we could afford). It put together fairly easily but the doors were a bit wonky, my partner managed to sort that out (but I cannot remember how). One of my cat likes to scratch the inside and was making the door pop open so we put a little latch lock on it which looks cute. We couldn’t have the inner wall on because the tray we have is too big. It is stored under our stairs with two grey wicker baskets on top for storage. It looks nice and nobody guesses that it is containing a litter tray, we just make sure we change it twice a week and we have had no problem with smell either.There is no question that for what it is, it is NOT high quality, it is basically MDF and it is overpriced. HOWEVER it is the nicest most reasonably priced discreet cover that I could find and I spent ages looking on the internet, even looking at posh litter trays (extraordinary what people will pay for a litter tray?).Anyway, I would recommend it. I have two rag dolls who are constantly jumping in and out of litter tray and trailing it everywhere , bought a mat for under it but didn’t make any difference so when I seen this thought it was worth a try , I’m glad I did , their litter tray is on the large side so I left the middle section out and the tray fits in well with still room left to fall inside before they come out , I put their rubber mat under it so catches the spills , haven’t seen any litter outside this unit since I bought it which is great as less clean up for me , which I felt I was constantly doing , I put their litter box in with their already used litter so they could smell where their litter box was , so they used it straight away with no problems , the unit is of great quality and looks like a piece of furniture , my only gripe is it only came in grey when I was ordering , as I’ve put it in the conservatory alongside my rattan furniture which is dark , but come summer I will take it outside and spray paint it and it will fit in nicely , overall great for hiding the litter tray and keeping the mess at bay

I always read consumer reviews before buying but very rarely leave a review myself so here goes......I got delivery of my new cat litter furniture today - it took me 30 mins to put it together, by myself. If you're ok with making IKEA units, then this will be a doddle - same type of fixtures & instructions.I got the weathered grey which is a very neutral colour and looks great. It's not fantastic material - it is MDF - but I knew that before buying. However it is very heavy & sturdy when made up. I can't comment on cleaning it yet.I have 2 Coonies so I need large litter trays. The ones I use are hooded (58L x 45W x 48Hcm) and even at that the kitty kats end up sticking their heads out the front when using them (I have removed the flap door for them). That was one of the reasons I wanted this unit. I didn't install the inner partition and the base of the litter tray fits the unit perfectly, HOWEVER I had to remove the hooded top as the unit is not as tall/high as I thought (even though I measured it twice!).But if the lack of internal height is an issue or the fur babies can't use it comfortably, then I'll resume my online search & move the unit upstairs & fit it out as a hidey cuddle bed in the bedroom or on the landing.In conclusion: I would recommend this sturdy and decent looking piece of furniture. Would be nice as a side table with a lamp, etc on top. Not sure yet if interior is tall enough for large cats to comfortably use, however I would say it's absolutely perfect for the smaller cat.

Bought this as wanted something super discreet for my 4 year old British short hair Tinkerbelle and her 12 week old little brother Buddy. Was so impressed at how very easy this was to put together. The instructions are so straight forward and every piece and bag of screws etc were clearly marked by letters so there was no way you could go wrong. If only all DIY items came this way. Built this myself in just 30 minutes. You can choose which end the entry hole goes which is ideal and whether you want the in between doorway bit or not which is very handy if you have or need a larger litter tray. Very sturdy classy looking but of furniture that only you will ever know what it houses. Always had covered litter tray housed under a coffee table but this is fab and next level. As you can see cat loves sitting on it which is an added bonus and despite her grumpy face she does love it. The doors open easily on the front to make changing the litter very easy. I have put a deep litter tray in and a litter grabbing mat in the i between section which completely stop ms any litter spilling out. To begin with we are keeping one door open to allow the cat’s to get used to it and for us to feel confident they are happy then we will close the door. Very impressed with it and the colour is lovely. Very well put together design and I feel it will definitely stand up to the test of time and my little fluff balls!!

Very good quality and came quite quickly. Was easily assembled.Easy to clean and smell wise... Well you still smell the 💩 and need to clean but we have put a neutradol on the inside if the boks that helps.

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased the box for looks more than cleaning, and the product met my expectations well. The plastic boxes allowed sand to escape, leaving the house filthy. With a mat inside the box, my house is much cleaner and more beautiful. I loved it!

Good quality and very sturdy wood. The instructions are absolutely useless though so if you're not keen on flat pack i would probably not get this unless you have someone to help build it.I managed without the instructions through trial and error though and only took me about 30 mins to put up

The product was as just as the picture showed nd came as the seller stated. I purchased this item for a "Feral Cat" that we socialized as a younger kitten. When we had him checked by our local veterinarian we discovered that he is FIV positive and now has come to live his days in our Sunroom. This cat is on Lysine and Digestive Aids and his box odors can be stronger than our inside two "Siamese". I wanted to disguise the litter box in our Sunroom, hope to eliminate excessive tracking of his litter and help disguise the odder. My husband, has many other projects at the time and being too busy to build the litter box enclosure, led me to purchase the product. Being that he is very handy in wood working he put the cat liter box enclosure together with no concerns. It appeared that is would be a very basic project for anyone to do. It came with no damage, easy to follow instructions, was a good choice of color to match the furnishings in our Sunroom. One of the ratings showed that their item came damaged with the backside in a white material and damage along the edges. The one we received is all the same type and color all the way around, with the same MDF and veneer overlay that will be very easy to clean. Charlie (our Sunroom Cat) had no problem in adjusting to using this as it contained no strange odor as some furniture can have. He likes sitting on the top, and being a cat use to the outdoors for so many months, find any litter box a place to hide. If you keep the upper high sides on the box it will be a tighter fit, yet easy to turn slightly to pull out and clean. The litter box small open area was a place that I felt Charlie would be able to seek a haven when someone comes to visit as he is not a socialized cat. I purchased this with the suggested litter box and the mats. The litter box has the higher side attachment and good especially for the male cat that he is. He also covers all his matter deeply so with the higher sides it helps to keep the litter contained and not overflow unto the floor inside, plus (so far) keep the urine from dripping unto the product. The matts are thicker and better at trapping litter from the previous similar matts that I have purchased. So far I have seen much less litter on the floor outside of the box and have yet to decide if I will add a matt at the entrance. The whole idea is to disguise the box completely and it does just that. with less sweeping of the floor when I clean the box. The one question I had, which the manufacture answered, was the formaldehyde that holds the MDF material together and its rating. They stated is is a 0.068, which if I remember correctly it should be below 0.11. I like this box and look to purchase a similar ones - yet smaller- for our inside cats litter boxes that we have. To me I found it be a very attractive piece of furniture. I did not get the matt pad for the top which would have been a great addition to the whole kit. I am able to sew one and was looking for something to match the cabin - fishing décor of our sunroom. I may change my mind later as the cost of fabric, like everything else these days, has increased more that I had anticipated. Hope you find this information helpful.

I really like this cat litter box enclosure overall, and my does too… lol…..but here are a few things I like and don’t like about it: After so long it does hold the cat’s urine smell. I constantly have to clean it so it doesn’t stink up the room it is in. Once I change the litter box and clean it, the smell disappears. On the inside of the enclosure it is a little small for an average litter box but I was able to find one that works. It does not fit self cleaning or hooded litter boxes. I currently use a high sided litter box without a hood. To help with the urine smell, I use an air freshener that I sit on the inside of the enclosure. This litter box is easy to clean. However like any furniture if you get water on it wipe it up immediately so it doesn’t warp. So far I haven’t had this problem. And i water my plants all the time. So I am bound to get water on it sometime. I have had this litter box enclosure for several months now and I do like it. It is sturdy and looks really nice with my furniture and decor in my plant room. Now I know some may say something about all the plants I have around my cat’s litter box. I can truly assure you, he does not mess with them or try to eat them. I try to keep the one’s he is interested in away from him so he doesn’t eat them and get sick. With that being said…. the enclosure does hold some weight. I don’t have a lot of weight on it but it does hold some weight. I believe about 20 or 30 pounds is on it right now. Also, as far as the enclosure I am thinking about buying another one so he can have one he can sleep in and hide away from my chihuahuas when he wants peace.

Looks great and hides the litter box well! It helps to contain a bit of the litter too. Some still comes out on my cats feet but it is less with this. It was fairly easy to assemble, I was able to do it alone. My cat took to it well and seems to have enough space to move around in it. So far so good!
