Eye Patch
These eye patch stickers definitely get the job done in terms of staying in place—they stick really well, even through active movement. The material feels breathable while wearing. However, I did notice that they tug on the skin quite a bit during removal, which can be uncomfortable, especially for sensitive or delicate skin. A tip I found helpful was applying a little moisturizer / coconut oil around the eye area before putting the patch on—it makes it a bit easier to remove later.

Eye Patches
These eye patches are very convenient for me because I have an eye condition where some days I just have to keep my eye closed because it’s bothering me so much and these patches do the trick. I don’t like the eye patches with the straps on them because the straps always get in your way so these adhesive eye patches are wonderful!

May work but Painful to remove
They do relieve my eye movements. They are very painful to remove and damaged the thin skin around the eye. For that reason, I don't use them much unless I absolutely need to. I ended up slathering Vaseline on the edges to see if that would soften the glue. It didn't do much. I ended up using the Vaseline to soothe around the eye skin.

Better than the standard beige eye patches
I bought these to protect my eye from drying out when I had Bells Palsy, and couldn't blink or close my eye completely. At first I used the standard beige medical eye patches and found that I had a lot of issues with light transmission. It was my dominate eye that was patched, so the light the bandage allowed through ended up affecting the vision in my non-dominate eye with phosphene trailing, blurriness, and issues adjusting to different light situations properly. These black eye patches worked MUCH better. They didn't block out all light, but the drastically reduced the amount of light through the eyepatch, and reduced much of the visual disturbances it was causing to my non-dominate eye. If you have to patch an eye that is not closing completely, I highly recommend these eye patches. They are also slightly larger than the store bought patches, so it makes it a bit easier to apply and get proper coverage.

Sticky , sweaty, no room for eyelashes to blink
We ordered these patches for a 13-year-old grandson who has a potentially dangerous eye condition that might require surgery which he's hoping to avoid. His eye doctor wanted him to wear a patch that seals out all light for 4 hours a day for 4 months. Grandson hated these!! No pros, only cons: adhesive doesn't stay when skin gets sweaty. Patch doesn't breathe, so skin sweats within a short time of putting it on. Patch lays flat against eyelashes, which is instantly uncomfortable and irritating with every blink. Patch is small and fits like an oblong monocle over eye socket, so edges dig into surrounding tissue. Since adhesive doesn't work once skin sweats, it is necessary to use medical grade adhesive tape, which leaves a residue that is difficult to remove. Disposable patches get used up and have to be bought over and over again. Grandson whined about having to wear them every single day, multiple times each day. Finally, we gave up and bought a pair of breathable, hand washable , adjustable eye patches that are much larger, lay flat against forehead, bridge of nose and lower cheek, seal out all light, have an adjustable strap with velcro, and a concave inner area over the eye socket, which doesn't touch his eyelashes. (Also found on Amazon.) Grandson still not fond of patches, but fights it much less and is far more comfortable. We do not recommend the disposable self-adhesive kind. AT. ALL.

Feels Like a Bandaid
Shuts out the light, stays in place and sticks like a bandaid. Good price for all 40 eye patches. I like these much better than the eye patch that straps around your head.
