High quality
These aluminum track field relay batons, are for professional racing and training. They're not different than any other professional baton.

Not for elementary students
Batons were very nice, perfect weight and great colors, however, the aluminum metal coating they are wrapped in bend and end inside the tip of the baton. Thus leaving very sharp edges on inside of baton tips (since they are hollow) that can cut a child's or even an adult's finger that wanders inside of there.

Lightweight with good colors
This is a nice, simple set of 8 relay batons. The colors are nice, better than some other similar ones I've seen on Amazon. However, the price is a little higher than other similar sets. Good for what they are, but I would hesitate to get them again due to the price.

Lightweight batons for track
These are lightweight and great for track events. I love that is comes with different colors and a pack of 8! Great quality and batons have a smooth finish.

These are colorful and lightweight. They are made of aluminum so may get slippery if your hands are sweaty. Good product!

JH or HS backup grade
291-295mm length, ≈40mm diameter, and I didn't have a scale on hand but felt about right.One is a decent "black" and the other a kind of faded black/midnight plum color. I think they were trying to save by having the "orange" baton represent yellow and gold as well, but it just comes out as a dull anodized orange. I certainly would have appreciated having truer separation between them. The "blue" is a slightly greenish light blue and not a bad choice to keep cool on a sunny day.They came with a few ding marks, but look prior to being anodized (no scuff). I certainly wouldn't care since these are going to be dropped, but someone else might.

Sturdy and bright!
We got these for our school's track program as they always are short on batons. These feel great and are nice and brightly colored. While $25 seems a little steep for essentially aluminum tubes, they are exactly what we needed.
