When I opened the package I was initially disappointed because it looked a little small and flat. I don't have a "big" head, but I'm a tall woman and have a big personality so I was looking for a poof like the lead photo. I realized this unit needs to be finger combed out to give it that fun volume. Unfortunately this may mean shortening the life-span of the unit. Luckily it's inexpensive enough that replacing it is not a big inconvenience.The curls are not as defined as I'd hoped, but the hair does look natural. It's not "fake shiny" or like a cotton ball like most drawstring ponytails. The hair feels soft. The tag says it can be washed, but I can't foresee it. This looks like a good, "i need my hair done but i need to stretch it out another week or two" quick hair option. If you have long hair (mine is mid bacK) remember that ponytail ball has to be tied into a tiny ball and wrap it with black wrap papers to hide your real hair. This cup area stretches larger than most drawstring units, but still they can only go so far. The quality is as expected for the price.

I’m about to buy another one because I actually like this piece. I still have the one I bought in April of this year; that one only lasted for about 2 months and then it became matted and tangled up so I just wear it in a bun. It looks natural even though if I were to take it out from a bun it would look like a birds nest. Lol. I like it though and for 12 bucks, it works.I really forgot which one I bought. Probably the #2.

Love the size, color, and it is so soft to touch. I just shake it out before I wear it. Definitely a compliment getter.

I liked this and it came in a cute package. Looks real. I got a medium it was still big, but once you shake it out a bit and put it on can get smaller by the hair tie it comes with. And it came with cute hooped earrings.

They hair, itself, is super soft. But, there was a lot of shedding just touching the hair. Also, the puff isn't as big as the pictures showed. I wasn't able to use it, because I have small hands & I was barely able to get my fist on the inside of the bun. Which just means that even if I blow dried & straightened my hair....which is shoulder length...my own hair wouldn't be able to fit inside. If you have shorter hair than mine it'd work. Again super soft..but I can't conceal my own hair inside the bun with out it looking weird.

This is a pretty decent hair piece. It looks like the pictures online. I was surprised at the actual color though. Under my bathroom lights, it gives off a grey color. Under normal lighting, it looks like a cool-tone (ashy) brown.For the price, I think it does the job. I’ll probably dye it to match my hair color.

I wouldn't say the puff I received was a dud, but it was not as full as the others that have been photographed. The 2 attached combs are rather small, and makes you question if the puff is secure. I still love the style and color. I've received compliments since the day I first wore it. Will be purchasing more

I got the piece after 3 days, it came in a Ziploc that was in a black box. I was nervous purchasing because there was no other reviews but I liked the price for one and the fact that it was 2 colors, 1b at the start and 27 at the ends.I'm glad I made this purchase. After a bit of finger combing the puff, it looks much more to my liking and realistic. Also the hair was soft even though it's synthetic and it can get really big depending on how much finger combing you do.Oh yeah, there was also a little additional gift of a cute green porcelain bracelet.
