Nice library book
Its a good book to understand the history of sails and technology of constructing sails.I would love to also have a chapter of "solid" wing sails and some in dept how to better tri and make decisions (sailing by lee sailing by luff etc.)all in all I recommend it.cheersDavid Fontyn

First step to up your sailing knowledge
100% one of the best sailing books I’ve read so far. I’ve been sailing competitively for a long time and can actually understand the physics that go behind the things we do when racing.

On time and well packaged, a technical book
As the book says in the introduction, more a science than an art, especially with modern materials.

Best purchase ever
Just brilliant.

Waste of paper
Not great, it’s waffle and full of self congratulatory pages. I have not learnt anything new. Big mistake and it’s now off to a charity shop.

Lovely - but need to check your copy
Lovely book - spoilt a little bit by the fact it has been bound incorrectly - with the cover on upside down and back to front! That doesn't detract too much from the contents, the science and the images though
