Star Wars The Black Series Supreme Leader Snoke

Looks nice but they are making these small now a days. Not like they use to make action figures

I've got a lot of Black Series figures and wasn't going to pass on getting the villain from Star Wars The Last Jedi. This character, and by extension this figure, is tall. Snoke is an imposing figure, his body might be deformed and broken, but he's powerful with the force for being neither Jedi nor Sith. People haven been making fun of Snoke's costume being a bath robe, not sure how that's much different than what Emperor Palpatine wore. If my body was deformed and broken I'd imagine it to be painful, so lounging around in a robe sounds ideal. The one drawback to this figure is that it comes with no accessories. If you've seen the film, then you might agree he should come with something.SPOILER ALERT for those who haven't seen The Last Jedi! In the film, we see Snoke bounce some force lighting off the floor at Kylo, so some sort of electricity attachment for Snoke's hand would have been a cool accessory. Also, Snoke is defeated by Kylo Ren, Kylo trick's Snoke into thinking he's going to ignite his lightsaber and cut down Rey, in reality, he's about to ignite Rey's lightsaber, which is on the arm rest of Snoke's throne. It's ignited by the force and Kylo force pulls it through Snoke, cutting him in half at the torso. So, it'd be cool if this action figure had that feature, then again, they've not yet made a Darth Maul with that feature so I guess it'll never happen. END SPOILER.I liked Snoke as a character a lot, I think Andy Serkis created a great character that really shined on screen. This action figure is a great representation of how he appears in The Last Jedi. Snoke's golden corded auropyle fabric khalat robes are represented well here with soft goods, tied together with a nicely sculpted gold belt. It's painful for Snoke to even stand so he also has some golden slippers on. Hasbro even did a nice job sculpting Snoke's ring, which is gold and topped with obsidian from under Vader's palace on Mustafar. Articulation is the standard fare from Hasbro here, it's easy yo get Snoke into uncomfortable yet imposing stances. The head sculpt is detailed well and captures Snoke's malformed zygoma. There's a great paint wash to bring out the pink scarred flesh. I really liked this character and I like the figure, regardless of it coming with nothing. This figure comes FULLY APPROVED.

This is by far the most articulate Black Series figure I've ever gotten. They got Snoke's appearance down to ever last wrinkle and crevice on his body. His gold robe is made of a shiny fabric, and the belt is removable, but the robe is attached at the collar, so while it comes off his body, the robe is still attached to him. Under the robe he wears white undergarments, and more of his deformed body can be seen. His back has a large hump on it. He has on his gold slippers, and his signet black stone ring. The face and head are the most incredible. Every line and shape of Snoke's face seen in the movies is exactly portrayed by this figure. His left cheek is sunken in, and his forehead crater is deeply set in his head. The movement is excellent, and he can sit down, move every joint that a human can, and looks great busting some dance moves! If you want a great model of Snoke in all his ugliness, then this is for you.

This was a very nice addition to my growing Star Wars display case, I couldn't get him to stand on his own. so we made him a stand. all in all I love him!

The top half outweighs the bottom half and the feet have a curve in them so he is impossible to stand unless you lean him against the wall or have an action figure stand.Other than that, very pleased with the way this figure came out. Extremely poseable. The robe and belt don't hinder the articulation at all. The figure doesn't include any accessories unless you consider the belt and robe he's wearing accessories. The details in the face especially are possibly More detailed than the actual on screen character. However, I guess that's better than not enough detail like the old lady version of Princess Leia.Overall, pretty cool, but really wish he could stand in his own.In case you're wondering? Thus is the exact same figure as the Smoke exclusive version that comes with the throne, so if you can find them both around the same price, get the exclusive with throne.

Snoke was a very intriguing character in The Force Awakens and I'm glad Black Series kept his original face sculpt for this figure. The gold robes are very nice although I personally wish they were a darker color. He is also very tall.All in all, I enjoy the figure. He's got a neat ring too.
