Works for me.
I have a large DSLR so I got this, rather than the 'Lite' version. Also, I wanted a wide strap. The buckles work very well. One way, adjusting length is easy, other way is locked tightly. The Ash colour is very nice as a change from black and matches my clothing well enough. The trim is leather, so if you're vegan - it's the black version for you.The anchors are very easy to put on the camera. There are oval split-rings for those cameras with not enough space to thread the anchor points through.Connecting to the main strap is so simple and there is a satisfying metallic click as the device is locked in to place. Easy to remove, too.The bottom plate comes with its anchor point already assembled and there's an Allen Key to tighten it.With three points of attachment there are two ways to attach the strap - either as a standard neck strap or as a sling. The grippy side of the neck strap is for the first option, to stop slipping while the smooth side helps the sling style move easily to get the camera into position. This is very well presented and feel wonderful in the hand. A very well-crafted item.It is expensive but a lot of science and care has gone into the manufacture, still - expensive. I feel this will last for ages.I would recommend this to anyone with a big / heavy camera and lens combination.

Definitely worth the investment
I replaced the original neck strap on my Canon 80d dslr with an OP/TECH strap last year but was still struggling with the weight around my neck especially with the 70-300 lens attached so much so that I hardly took my camera out.I ordered the Peak design Slide to see if wearing it across my body would help and it does brilliantly. I've attached one the connectors to the right hand strap loop and the other one to the bottom of my L-Bracket which allows the lens to point downwards when I'm wearing the strap as a sling. It is so much more comfortable, I don't notice the weight, it doesn't swing about and I look forward to taking my camera out now. It's easy to take the strap off when you want to use a tripod and it comes with a storage bag too.

Best strap by far.
I purchased this strap to replace a Black rapid sport strap I rarely used. Due to a pending trip I wanted to use a strap instead of holding my camera in my hand (almost 2kg in weight) Over time carrying my camera like this has caused a long term injury. Back to the strap, I found this strap very comfortable, very easy to use and some nice features. Live the idea of the grip on one side if the strap for a secure feeling and then flip it over to enable the strap to slide for quick use when shooting. The ability to quickly detach the strap from its holders and thus releaving camera of the strap when the is on a tripod, this is a great feature. In my first week of use I got caught in a 45 minutes of heavy down pour the strap dried quick afterwards. I don't usually do reviews but I have been so happy I felt compelled to share my thoughts. I did consider the slightly cheaper model but that grip moulding make the difference, let alone the thicker webbing. Thank you Peak Design for a great product.

I wanted to love it.
I have the strap on my Canon R5. It is very well made, feels like it should last, easy to take on and off, but feels very secure when its on. Its also easy to adjust the length and looks good. But it isn't perfect (for me at least) and I feel it should be a little better for the price. The "padding" is quite stiff so doesn't bend over my shoulder very comfortably and the non-slip bits are only on one side, but it feels like it is the wrong side. I feel you are paying a bit of a premium for a stylist looking strap, hopefully you are also paying for longevity too.

This camera strap has changed my photography
I have a full frame camera and some of the lenses are very heavy. Before I got this strap I rarely took my camera out on the off chance that there would be something to photograph. I agreed with the idea that you should practise your photography whenever possible, but carrying the camera was a complete pain. The result was that I bought a smaller, but less good, camera to carry on my daily walks. But this strap has changed that completely. I can now carry my Canon 6D mkII with a heavy 24-70 lens with comfort (sling style). I can even go out with a long 400mm lens and not mind carrying it for 2 or 3 hours. If you are considering changing your heavy camera for a lighter model, try this strap first. Watch the Peak Design video on this strap on YouTube to see how to set it up.

WHAT A CAMERA STRAP SHOULD BE !
If you are anything like me ... jumping from camera to camera .... photography to videography then this strap is absolutely spot on... taking the strap off my DSLR to mount onto a gimbal or tripod for video work takes seconds... and when want to take some stills ... back on in seconds... I would highly recommend you buy one ... its the only strap you will ever need ... it feels solid and comfortable... yes its pricey but buy once and its there for years ... you certainly get what you pay for with this quality strap !

No more strap in the face in portrait
I am predominantly a commercial/editorial photographer so moving quickly and now switching from stills to a seperate dedicated video camera is essential. Fixing this strap the tripod mount is excellent and it hangs so much better at the said, much more securely than the previous sling straps.I have always found camera straps annoying because flipping the camera to portrait, the strap always drops in the way which is frustrating.I did watch one YouTube review about the gapping between the straps when its adjusted and this put me off a little. Glad I decided to go for it as this has not been an issue for me. I do have it longer though and as yet havent needed to tighten it to myself. It feels very well made but only time will tell. so far, very happy and its worth the money.

Comfortable
Very expensive for a camera strap but it is very well made and very comfortable to use even with a 75-300 lens attached. In my opinion you should ditch the cheap straps and invest in one of these. But be careful when ordering as different types of straps have very similar descriptions and stock codes
