The Boom Stopper will help stop short circuits blowing your electronics up. Simply plug in the Boom Stopper between the power source, usually your batttery, and the components you are wanting to power for the first time. If there is a problem the inline 2A fuse will blow, instead of your components. When the fuse is blown the LED will light up indicating their is a short circuit and the Boom Stopper will reduce the current to a level that won't immediately damage your electronics, giving you time to remove the power supply. A great way to prevent issues with ESC reverse polarity problems and a must have tool for new build drones, with their multitude of wires, complex power distribution boards and numerous ESCs, it's easy to get a component reversed. You can avoid the chance of a costly mistake simply by using the Boom Stopper the first time you power up your project.
