New! Professional Mini Tracker Key

I bought one of these to keep track of teenager and his new car. I also use it to archive my travels as I am self-employeed and may have a need to prove to the IRS or a client my mileage.Pros:1. Profile - very small for what it does and the black color is perfect for concealment.2. Ease of Use - Simply find something magnetic to stick it to and you're done. Later, retrieve the unit, plug it into your computer, download and view.3. Accurate - This thing doesn't skip a beat. I've had virtually no blank spots on the tracking. It also records fastest speed and how long you are idle.4. Cost - good price for the capabilities.Cons:1. Software - The software that came with mine would not install. This is not an isolated issue I later found out. I had to download the software from the Internet. Annoying, but I got it to work.2. Quality - Within 2 months I had lost the cap protecting the USB connection (got lose and fell off). Also, two of the parts that hold the screws in are coming out and need to be glued. The o-ring is also very flimsy and will soon break I am sure.Overall I like the product and would consider another.These are great to keep tabs on teenage drivers. You know if they are really going to school, work, friends, etc., how fast they drive and how long they were parked.Cheep piece of mind.These would also be great to put on company vehicles to track employees or a suspected cheating spouse!

The mini tracker is simple to use and does what it suppose to do. Main complaint is that the battery life is very short. Because of that you have to remove 4 timy screws to take the battery cover off. If this cover was the slide and remove type it would be so convenient and not a hassle. But because you have to change the batteries constantly, it is becoming very inconvenient.

This product does everything it says it will do. Software loads easy & start using it quickly. My only complaint is batteries do not last as long as it says they do & it does not always locate the exact address, so sometimes you have to search around. In order to verify addresses you will definitely need to have Google Earth & internet access.

This thing randomly logs the locations that were actually traveled. I tested it out on my car and when I checked the travel log in my laptop, it had only logged some of the stops I made. The log also had a few gaps, meaning it I was at one location and then some how I magically arrived at another location. Definitely not worth the money, I would have returned it but I made the mistake of throwing out the plastic box/case it came in.

This has been a huge help in tracking the vehicle my son drives. Does exaclty what it says. It can take time to exchange batteries but, like me, nothing is perfect. Should have gotten this the first day he started driviing and it will certainly be a part of my daughter's driving experience from day one!

cant get it to be read on my usb drive manually or auto and no instructions entailed just to run the cd first which im pretty comp suave and still "no device found" able to get it working .

dosnt work as they said it should the mph is NOT CORRECT and the batteries dont last but about one week this product shoould NOT be used !

Works as described. It is hard to believe that this still works when hidden under a seat or some other obscure location.
