'Charles Joly' Syringa Vulgaris - Branched Lilac Tree 30-40cm Shrub in a 2L Pot. 3fatpigs

It's a great little plant but small for the price, only one main stem. A few months ago I bought one, for the same price, which was the same height but had three stems. Most importantly it is a lovely healthy plant which will grow into a delightful shrub.

When the Lilac arrived it was smaller than I thought, it’s been nurtured in my Sun Room and then moved outside where it is thriving. I’m really pleased with the plant the quality is great and I’m confident there will be flowers this year.

Excellent shrub in good condition repotted and doing well

Writing this review in 2022, bought it in 2019. It was planted straight away upon receiving, so first couple of years it was getting used to the soil and all, the bush is still very small, but we got our first flowers this spring. They look amazing

Not quite sure what I was expecting, my fault should have looked at measurements. This Lilac arrved ontime with good packaging, when I removed Lilac from the box about 4 leaves were lying on the bottom, other leaves looked like they had been lunch for a Tasmanian Devil, i was not impressed. However there were some buds so I decided to plant it, have just returned from watering the garden and much to my surprise the new buds have opened and new leaves are appearing, so much happier now.

It arrived in very good condition, no broken branches, fully alive. I can't comment on the scent or colour of flowers as it is long past flowering season but hope it will be wonderful as on the photos. It definitely was value for money for me as I love all lilacs

I have had this lilac for six years now. It sits in full sun, gets plenty water and has the right soil. It has NEVER bloomed. Never even developed a single flower bud. After six years I'm ready to give up.
